Inspired by last year's "Arsenal in relegation battle threads".

Feel free to vent your knee-jerk predictions based on first few weeks of the season, and then in May we'll look back and see who was right or wrong. Some classics from last year on GL:

- Arsenal will finish lower half of the table
- Spurs could be in for relegation battle
- This Liverpool side is as good as Rafa's 08/09 side
- Mou is cracking up (After Madrid lost to Levante and drew another team in 4 weeks)
- AVB's Chelsea plays amazing football, he'll be a massive hit
- Cleverly will be the best midfielder of the season
- Newcastle will start going down the table once harder fixtures kick in
- Real Betis and Levante could challenge the top 2. Levante's form is no passing fad
- etc

Dint look into his stats..But i am very impressed by him..I already believe he's a fantastic signing for Liverpool.

Soon enough i'll start a Allen vs Cabaye thread.(I think he's going to have a better season than him too).

They've produced different great players fro They rely m their academy Wayne Bridge, Bale, Walcott, AOC. They have a good academy. Probably the best in all of England. They rely A LOT on their academy and as proved by their promotion to the Premier League, its working.
