Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
Spurs are the laughingstock of the European transfer market, continually second place to most of their targets. As the Dothraki would say....." This is known".
However, I think 23m is the right price for Modric. He was never worth 35m to begin with as he hasn't done enough to justify that price.

Yeah what i meant is i don't expect you to go for a big name to start.
Giroud and Podolski will replace his goals and Cazorla will replace his creativity.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
This is how exactly Bayern will look next season, don't let anyone decisive you.
We don't play 4321 anymore, Kroos doesn't play as attacking midfielder our new formation is hybrid mixture of 451+433+4321.
and here it goes.
That is our first team and you can not really tell how we line up. Sometimes it's almost like Kroos is a C-Midfielder and Robbery sometimes operate as wingers and sometimes they look like strikers.
as for our bench, this how it will look. I think the only undisputed starters in Bayern right now, are: Neuer, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Ribery and Robben.
Next to them are Kross, Alaba, Boateng, Dante, Badstuber, Martinez, Gustavo, Muller, Shaqiri, Gomez and Mandzukic.
Next to them are either Badstuber Dante or Boateng, depends on the one that turns out to be better, but judging from the super cup match against Dortmund, it seems like the Coach have faith on Dante-Boateng, but also Badstuber is a very good defender and good kick out Boateng or Dante. Boateng has a serious advantage because he can use both feet and playing Dante-Badstuber might be too dangerous since they are both left-footed but nevertheless we'll see how it goes.
Next in line are Rafinha, Contento and Pizarro.
Emergencies are Starke, DVB, Can Tymo and Weiser
Diamond 442, I doubt if it will ever happens but it goes like this.
Please note that I am throwing players around, just to show case how good our depth is and how versatile our players are, any manager that is not able to win anything with this group of player should be taken to court for negligent.

Bayern's depth is just insane and the versatility of a no.of their players to go along with it..You'd still have an extremely strong Bayern side even if 2 or 3 of their important players get injured.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter are looking to buy not just one, but two central midfielders as reinforcements for the upcoming season.
The more recent reports link the Nerazzurri to Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano, however, at €10 million it may be too high a price for Inter despite the good relations between the two clubs.
Nigel De Jong is alos being linked to the club after Manchester City boos Robert Mancini gave the OK for the Dutchman to leave the BPL winners.
Other names listed as alternatives include Tottenham’s Sandro and Real Madrid’s Nuri Sahin.
Should no new names arrive in the final days of the mercato, Inter manager may continue to use Javier Zanetti in the center despite the Inter captain’s best position being at fullback.
With this in mind Inter have also been linked to Uruguayan international Alvaro Pereira to play either fullback position.

If Song leaves then all the signings seems a bit pointless.
Won't really strengthened more just replaced the outgoing players.
Can't say i'm complaining though lol.

Yeah you probably will tbf, but the replacement seemed to be Sahin and he looks like he's going to Liverpool.
Even so, it does make the whole race for 4th for the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and ourself more interesting it looked like before these perceived sales that you were creating a massive gap between yourself and the teams i mentioned.

Sahin was never meant to be a replacement for Song. Besides, do you think he'd be our only target?

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 7
Nope, i think you will replace him but i still think it makes the race for 3rd and 4th more interesting.
Regardless if you replace him or not because i don't see your buying more players to replace RVP because he already has been by Giroud, Podolski and Cazorla.

I don't see a replacement for van Persie. At least, not one of the calibre everyone wants to have like Llorente. Maybe we'll go for that Mirallas.
For Song, though, I doubt we'll won't sign a replacement. Wenger is not that negligent.
