They would've have a better overall midfielder in Martinez though if you compare him to Gustavo.

Possible.But think Rodgers will stick to him 4-3-3 rather than going with a diamond.

Another think to factor in is gerrard is unlikely to have an injury free season and Lucas is just returning from lengthy injury.So dont think all 4 will start many games together that is if Sahin actually signs for us.

Never denied that i just find it's debatable he's any better than Gustavo at his best.... Martinez has been hyped to be better than what he actually is he's performed better at CB than in midfield IMO.

Besides Bayern didn't win the league because of those reasons....

They didn't win the league because BVB was better in every department simples.

More to do with Bayern being the 2nd best possession side in the World rather than Badstuber and Boateng being anything amazing.

You can't have top possession without it starting from the very back, though, and especially Badstuber's passing is exemplary.

However, I think 23m is the right price for Modric. He was never worth 35m to begin with as he hasn't done enough to justify that price.
