Should Brazil hire Guardiola?
Brazilian press is taking Menezes' firing as a fact and the latest name to come up is Guardiola's. While Pep has claimed that he will take a year long break, international football is not as demanding as club football where you have to plan games twice a week, and the fact that it would be a once in a lifetime offer, not to mention the chance to coach Brazil in a WC in Brazil might be enough to entice him.
As an Argentine, the thought scares me.

LOl it would never work. If Pep takes over Brazil he will never find another job in his life by the time he is done.

No amount of failure with Brazil can erase his success with Barca jives. I'm sure there would be plenty of teams happy to have him, Barca included.

4-3-3. Sandro-Moura-Oscar or Ganso at CAM with Oscar at false nine and Neymar, Hulk on either side of him...

Mate, that was just a joke one of our journalists made with pep in a press conference, nothing serious specially since the general public doesn't like the idea of having a foreign coach.

I'd be shocked if Muricy wasn't next in line.

I think he should just wait and manage a club next year.

How's he gonna own Mou if he's coaching Brazil?
I don't see it happening ever, anyhow.

I think anyone taking on Brasil is in for failure (failure defined by not winning the world cup). I think many big names don't want the job.

Re: Should Brazil hire Guardiola?
Why are people quoted Jibbers like thats remotely true?
Rijkaard last 2 seasons were a disaster, especially the last one, he has already failed in NT management before that point and he still finds work to this day.

Re: Should Brazil hire Guardiola?
Nonsense. He can get Brazil out in the qualifying round still there will be plenty of teams after him.
Re: Should Brazil hire Guardiola?
So either pep is a bad coach or brazil sucks and no one can coach them. That statement based on Madrid fans agreeing with jibers. I dont think it's either one of them so why the ignorance ?

Re: Should Brazil hire Guardiola?
I trust him to be smart enough to call up Gustavo, Dante and Rafinha, that alone is sufficient to make him play world-cup final against Germany.
World cup runner up wouldn't necessarily be considered not successful, especially since tough teams like Nigeria and England are most likely to play 3rd place.

I think Guardiola will take over United after Ferguson retires. He'll want to work with Scholes.
