To be fair Arsenal sure pretty much a talent stage now where you try to prove your worth and the trophy winning teams come and sign you. Should be very attractive to those who wish to prove themselves, players like Mvilla etc should really try force move to what Evra once described as a training center Laughing

Its a good move from Santi as well, lets hope he doesn't have a bad back by the time an ambitious club comes sniffing around.

Arsenal need to sort out their pressing off the ball and defensive organisation.

Until that happens no amount of players will make them successful.

Buying a destroyer won't magically make them better Arsenal's problems are system based not personnel based.

Song was shite for them. Not saying he was the sole cause of Arsenal's problems but he definitely was the root. No amount of precise chipped through-passes will change that.

A disciplined & unselfish player like M'Vila will help them alot.

City were interested but didn't go that far into negotiations to be able to sign him. This 300k a week rumour is bollocks. And IF it's true Arsenal could sue City for attempting to tapping up the player as no offcial Manc City bid was accepted.

08/09: 44 games and 20 goals.
09/10: 19 games and 10 goals.
10/11: 33 games and 22 goals.
11/12: 48 games and 37 goals
11/12: 12 games and 9 goals.*

*season is ongoing. We're still only in November.

Since he's move to Arsenal in '04, he has played 55 games in the CL with 22 goals. That's a pretty good return in comparison to other strikers...
