Re: Manchester United agree fee with Arsenal for Robin van Persie ( confirmed )
Kagawa missed half of the season in 2011/12? He only missed like 6 days in February ffs and fully deserved the Bundesliga player of the year, Shinji would've won it in 10/11 aswell if injuries didn't hit him. He was Dortmund's best player by far, it's still a question if Reus can repeat what Shinji did in the past two seasons, he was just perfect for the system Dortmund works and saying Lewandowski, Huntelaar, Kroos or Piggy were better is just f*cking ridiculous.
I don't expect dnmac4 to know much about the Bundesliga but explaining this shit to a freakin Bayern fan is just unbelievable.

Man Utd just need a midfielder imo. Someone to partner Carrick.

Against Schalke , Bayern ,Wolfsburg, Mochengladbach,Koln,Sevilla and Mainz which just happens to be the only teams I watched him play against, he was either Man of the Match or not far behind.
Is it that absurd a statement to think he was arguably the best player in Germany over that 2 year period?
Yes, Ribery has been better, Gomez has scored millions of goals, Lahm is world class and a better player, even on his own team, Sahin was thought to be the better player before he left.
IMO and I don't know how you can say he was the best player 2 years ago when he only played in 18 league games plus the whole team flopped terribly in the CL.
Not to mention Lewandowski is worth almost twice as much and many would tell you Gotze is the better player and I believe the market would bare that out as well. I mean he wasn't even the best player on his team let alone the whole German League and I'm not even bringing up players like Robben or Huntelaar.
I mean if you watched the BPL did you see how different a team BAyern was with out Piggy when he was hurt? He's a better player the Kagawa and on the market would probably be worth 3-4 times as much.
There are better players then Kagawa in the German League. I think sometimes people need to step back and reevaluate how they determine who is better then who. To say Kagawa is better then Piggy I think any coach would laugh you out of his office.
I said cumulatively over both years In the games I've seen he's been the best....I'm not stating that he's a better player than anyone you outlined,I'm just positing the question as based on the games I've seen, it's not absurd to think he's been that good.
I'll avoid Gomez and Huntelaar, I simply don't rate them, If you do I won't fight you down.
Schweinstiger missed games as well and when I saw him he wasn't that impressive, of course I don't really watch Bayern to really discern the influence that he has. The market will definitely value Schweinstiger more, but based on performance over the last 2 years I doub't he's been as clearcut better than Kagawa as marketed.
Goetze is good, not as good as Kagawa in the games I've watched, but still the argument could be made. He also missed some of the more important games I've watched,
Lewdanowski is in the same category as Gomez and Huntelaar, I guess I'm biased against that particular type of player.
Perhaps Kagawa was just coincidentally great in the games I watched, perhaps he's a big game player, but just based on what I've seen the argument could be made that he's had the best 2 years of any Bundesliga player which doesn't neccesarily mean he's better , it just means he had better seasons.
Anyway, I suppose I got my answer, I trust you watch Bundesliga regularly so I won't go any further.

Replace ronaldo and tevez? Weve won premierships and reached a cl final since they left lol plus had one of our best ever scoring rate in the league last year.
You wanna judge in a year to year basis with no broad view thats fine, barca had a shocking away record last year and struggled to break down a past it Chelsea over 180 mins.
Does it take much to compete with that?
See how idiotic that sounds?

United can win the epl with a prostitute in their starting eleven as long as they have Fergie, Fergie time and Howard Webb giving them a helping hand.
Without Fergie around, no party for you guys, he his the heart and soul of United and I respect him more than any other person in football world unless of course for Ottmar Hitzfield and Kaiser.
I laugh when I hear people say Mourinho is the greatest manager, when Fergie is still around.

The Webb conspiracy again. Yeah... that's like as old as Fergie himself...

Manchester United have agreed a £24m deal to sign Arsenal striker Robin van Persie on a four-year deal.
The 29-year-old will meet with United in the next 48 hours to discuss personal terms and have a medical.
Arsenal captain Van Persie announced in July he would not extend his current deal, which expires in June 2013.
The Netherlands international scored 44 goals in 57 games for club and country last season, including two against United.

Disgusting amount of money. That's around 30M for an injury prone player (last year was just dumb luck) who is almost thirty years of age with one year left on his contract.

What a shitty football day man. RvP signs with United, Sahin close joining Liverpool and M'Vila apparently close joining Tottenham.
Just when I thought we're finally having a decent summer.
