Usain Bolt wants a shot at the Premier League
Seems like a ridiculous idea, but he professes to have the quality to go with the obvious pace that would be so tough to defend. I still think it is fantastical, but interesting at the last. By no means do I think this can happen... Just making discussion.

Re: Usain Bolt wants a shot at the Premier League
Better than Bebe.
He would be stupid to do this anytime before he's 30 and potentially throw away the chance to be the first person (and likely only person ever) to win 3 straight 100 Metre finals
Would be the single greatest accomplishment in Olympic history considering the event that the 100 M is.

When has pure pace worked at the highest level? The players nowadays who rely on pure pace/acceleration at the top level have substantial technical skill as well (Robben, Ronaldo etc.) as being able to dirbble almost as fast as they run.

Annoying as hell.
It takes longer for him to do his bullshit salutes and hand signals than it does him to run faces.

For the sake of his dignity (and Rio's) i seriously hope this was just a joke and he's not actually looking to even attempt any sort of trial in any football league

Re: Usain Bolt wants a shot at the Premier League
Completely different.
Bolt takes 30 seconds pre and post race to do some nonesense.
That was one off KG, spur of the moment.

Re: Usain Bolt wants a shot at the Premier League
He would be awful. And besides as Le Sam said, he shouldn't do this until after a 3rd Olympics try, and by that time he'll be 30 and then he doesn't have very much time to do anything. As if he would make it...we all know it's not all about pace.

Even at 30 he would be faster than every footballer on the planet.
If he was willing to play a very individual and easy to learn position like like a fullback or a winger...but it's pretty clear he wants to be a striker and have a team built around him.
I maintain he would be better investment than Bebe though.....
@Dani - Blake is worse, but I kinda get it with Bolt, he has nothing else to do no one can touch him, he's not even competing he's just beating people for fun lmao.

Blake, Bolt...all the same to me, not alone either. All sorts of nobodies wasting time doing nonesense.
I just want to watch dudes race. The other stuff is just long.

Re: Usain Bolt wants a shot at the Premier League
Oh and I havent even commented on this possibility because there is none.
You cant just take up a sport with zero pro training and expect to compete on any pro level.
Bolt being fast doesnt mean anything, running in straight lines will do him no good here. I will go out on a limb (hardly) and say he isnt even better than me. I seen him kick ball a little in videos, his technique is disgusting.
