You are currently watching Cristiano, Zidane and Henry are pretty recent unless you are, in fact, 12 years of age.

Two names that have yet to be mentioned that I'd have loved to watch in their primes are Rivera and Netzer. Cruyff, Baresi and Beckenbauer round out my top five.

Diego Armando Maradona
Would love to see if he was the invincible as those who watch him claim him to be. There is a story that on his first day in the Barca locker room and saw some socks balled up in a corner, 300 kick-ups later, his teammates chins were dropping in awe.

As for watching a past top team; a live performance from the Magical Magyars wouldn't go amiss.

Me, also. I have a video on Puskas and what he did was phenomenal. It is criminal they didn't win the WC... By far the most dominant team of the day. Longest win streak in history I believe?

Actually the whole Bayern team at that time was great - they had Sepp Maier and Gerd Müller then, too, among others.larisano wrote:Would also love to see Beckenbauer in his prime as well
