Özil, Hummels and Badstuber where at fault for the 1st goal.

Lahm was at fault for the 2nd in a massive facepalm.

Stop ranting about the fact that Özil had to make way for Kroos. They were being dynamic and swapping, Kroos was able to shut down Pirlo. For the first goal, Özil was the CAM, he pressed Pirlo, Pirlo walked back a little bit and Özil just ignored him after that.

Keep complaining that Özil didn't play 90 minutes as CAM when it because he was the CAM at that particular moment that the goal happened.

yup, basically two super stupid mistakes and balotelli actually finishing instead of choking like against iker and heart.

Germany didn't have any real test coming into this semi-final clash..... only Portugal really gave them a contest......

The entire Germany NT is overrated. People see them as this unbeatable team that they are not. At the WC they were completly outplayed by Spain and today was much the same story omly that it was worse... Dont get me wrong, Germany are a great team, 3 semi-finals and 1 final in the last 4 tournament is a brilliant record but, but they are not this unbeatable force that people seems to think...

Yes. In the all star 11, it was a choice between these two for left back but now there is no question.

I thought Badstuber was out of position for the 2nd goal, he's a difficult character

Some apologies are on offer from me and I guess a few others as well.

Balotelli - I thought it was too risky to bring a mad man in a tournament squad. Some thought Di Natale should start in place of him. However tonight proved that there are days on which what makes the difference is one such maverick.

Cassano - I said he was past it physically and a kind of a liability. Well technically he still hasn't lost it. Lovely turn for the first goal and good play for as long as he was on the pitch.

Idri you think Badstuber is at fault for everything that Lahm f***s up. If Boateng had been the LCB for Bayern this season you'd be ranting about Boateng.

At hindsight, if Löw was going to be reactionary and try to shut down Pirlo the attacking midfield should have looked like:

Reus Kroos Müller.

Löw wanted Kroos on the pitch and in the middle to shut down Pirlo, which he did when he wasn't swapping with Özil all the time (which led to the first goal) and with Özil and Kroos and flopdolski on the pitch there was 0 width.

well i never considered england as stronger, but i believed they could qualify chelsea style

anyway i agree with you, actually my father all day long was telling me italy will hammer germany allthough he was telling me that greece could win them as well in some way he doesnt rate germany

in anyway i wasnt expecting this performance by italy, i am suprised
