Re: Quarter final: Czech Republic vs Portugal discussion
Czech sucked pretty badly the whole group stage, I have no idea how they got first. Russia destroyed them. Greece was poor as $hit against them and they didn't even look that good, and Poland dominated them for 70 minutes of that match until they scored.
Portugal easily.
Portugal easily.

CR not to show up, but Portugal should go through anyways. Portugal to get steamrolled by Spain in the Semis though 4-1.

I'm confident we can do this. We have been playing very well, I hope CR can step up once again.

Actually no, they're not using the same format as Euro 2008
So Portugal/Czech vs Germany/Greece can't happen till the final

Re: Quarter final: Czech Republic vs Portugal discussion
Rosicky is injured, and is a doubt for the rest of the tournament.
I hope Postiga does not start a match again for Portugal, Ronaldo, Oliviera, Nani is a more dangerous trio. I hope Ronaldo gets a hattrick against the Czech and silence his critics once more. He certified today, why he's the most mentally tough player around...
I love Ronaldo

Re: Quarter final: Czech Republic vs Portugal discussion
Having been in Portugal for the group stages, I've decided they're shit fans, so I'm going for Czech's.
But if they play anyway like The Netherlands did against them, they'll get their asses handed to them.

Re: Quarter final: Czech Republic vs Portugal discussion
Portugal are growing into this tournament. They played within themselves and started very negatively vs Germany but after that they progressed quite nicely.
They remind me a little of the last winning Man utd CL winners squad obviously thanks to Nani & Ronaldo but whereas they have a very solid defence and attack exclusively free roaming from the flanks, also bypassing their average midfield.
Czech's by all rights are one of the worst teams in the competition, definitely the worst left in the quarters I think.
I only see one way traffic for this, it'll be a huge upset if portugal lose this

This could potentially be Moutinho's breakout game imo. He has a chance to really shine since theoretically he'll have a lot of space to operate.
