Re: Group A: Greece vs Czech Republic discussion
greece's probable starting XI:
torosidis-katsouranis-papadopoulos-holebas
--------------maniatis--fotakis---------------------
--------------------karagounis---------------------
salpigidis--------------------------fortounis/samaras
------------------samaras/gekas-------------------
ninis will probably not start after that terrible half against poland
samaras gtfo of the team you suck balls!!!!!!!!!!
i predict 1-2 for greece

Re: Group A: Greece vs Czech Republic discussion
For a minute there, i thought there were at least 7 people in that back line
If Greece play like their 2nd half showing against Poland, they should do quite well against the Czechs

Re: Group A: Greece vs Czech Republic discussion
Czechs need to rebound here and quick if they want to make a statement that they're no pushovers in this group. Russia made them out to be just that.
They need to score goals more than anything right now though. They just don't seem to do enough of that and have the lowest goal scoring tally of all the teams coming out of the qualifiers. Very worrying.
Projected line up:

I wonder if Greece had actual midfield , Started watching on second half but i think they were too sloppy at midfield , nothing but to give the ball away , poor performance

Got robbed of a legitimate goal. Game should have been 2-2

Opta Joe on Twitter: "Shots in Greece vs Czech Republic - the fewest in a European Championship Finals game since 1980. Barren."
Tells all about this match.

actually there wasnt if you exlude the defensive ones
our coach is stupid
subs off our only remaining "midfielder" to put in another striker
the 2nd half greece was playing a 4-2-3-1 with all 4 attacking players were strikers
jesus christ
we deserved to lose
now i pray for russia to win against poland and in the last round poland to win against cezh
that way if we win against russia we can still qualify
im just dreaming

Re: Group A: Greece vs Czech Republic discussion
We have the worst team in the tournament , sadly . Despite being unlucky with the refs decisions , we aren't competant so far , we don't try to play football from the middle up front
and our coach is simply not doing it right . Euro 2012 is close to the end for Greece , it's very difficult to see Russia with their fantastic performances not getting the better out of us .
For Greece to go through now , it will need some epic history making once again and i am not so sure Santos is able to immulate Otto one bit . Otto is the more realistic and pragmatic coach i have ever seen , Santos is good at dealing with players and reading the game , but he even failed to bring the best out of the players , not to mention his reactions got the better out of our own players .
Some individual brilliance will be needed against Russia and all we can hope for is a 1-0 result . Try for anything else and we are out , realisticaly speaking.
