Vote for Milan's Section Awards!

The nominations phase is now closed and we will open voting procedures. The nominations have been compiled and the most nominated users are now on the voting phase. You will notice that some categories have 3 candidates while some others have up to 7: when there are fewer candidates it's because those had a wide margin over the other, whereas if it was closer more participants have a chance.

Additionally, some people have been left wanting for the Section awards, claiming there were too few and the people who only follow their section had no incentives to participate in the voting procedure. As a result, there are 2 voting surveys, one for general members and one for sections. If you want to do both that's perfect, if you only find yourself aligned with 1 that's okay too. Both are voting for the final phase, not nominations. I will post a copy of this thread in every section to make sure it reaches the people that don't post here.

I voted bmf3,but there are too many awesome posters here like Dante,forza etc

Wow, this is a tough one, most Milan posters are well respected by me, it's between Dante and Forza for me. If I HAVE to pick one, I'll say Forza just because he has been doing that little extra updating the MilanLab and keeping everyone up to date. Shout out to Ganso, Iras, and BMF3 though

Thanks and I agree with BMF3's above post. This section just doesn't work without the great contributions from everyone so I'll keep my vote anonymous.

Same here, having a hard time deciding.

Though I have been inactive here for quite some time, this place has always been my home and the posters here are like family. Seriously you guys, you rock.

Out of respect to all the great posters I wish I could recognise with a vote, I'm not revealing who I voted for as the best poster, however the other two categories I'm openly advertising in the hope that others follow me.

The best thread and post of this section doesn't yet exist.

It's the opening post and subsequent thread when Fadi reacts to the sale of Silva. It's going to be more epic than the love child of Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings.

It's great to have ppl like fadi around because it spices things up every once in a while. It's good that we have a diverse range of views in this section and that we're not polarised. (like some other sections)

Well , out of respect for the rest posters ..i won't reveal who i voted .

Also , i can only thank you guys who mentioned me , but i ve lost a big part of this first year and i don't think i should be considered anyway . Guys like Ganso , M99 , Dostoevsky , Ninja or Forza kept this place intact in the begginings , which i found really worth of credit.

I ll be honest , i would vote for Arquitecto* , but he hasn't contributed enough time for some months now in the section and i always like to be just . * Hope you understand mate , don't look at me like that .

Honourable mentions i would like to give to many and i honestly mean that , especialy to the rest guys who still post since the lithium G.forums like me , but i will just give to one who doesn't post anymore and i always had the outmost respect for , Dreamerr . This , for the mentor of the Milan section ,has always been a pleasure to read his opinion & ideas .

Basque football ,well .. i am no Basque , neither a fan of Bilbao , but i must say too , i just love their football ideas and policy with local players and trust in their own topic ways .

Didn't know much about Basque-way really , untill Valverde came to coach in Greece , then i understood . Bilbao was a pleasure too this season ..

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that Iras' posts are the paramount of the off-topic section. They are always a well thought-out and meaningful commentary of what's going on and the human condition in general.

Arq, I can't believe you think that your posts aren't listened to in this section. Everyone here has great respect for your opinion, no matter how vehemently some may disagree at times. Your analysis is always very detailed and definitely appreciated by the rest of us. You should write here more often!
