Very disappointing.

All the lads who made the long trip out to Poland have done us proud though.Over 30,000 there.Best fans in the world bar none.

Obviously Ireland are just very average side.... Arbeloa and Alba able to get up consistently, Pique even afford to make a few mistakes, Torres continues improvement, Silva scored....Iniesta didnt meh... Cesc scored again too..... Spain to top the group! WOOO HOOO~!

It's the truth,everybody knows it.But one thing they had going for them before the tournament was that they were very disciplined and difficult to break down.They failed to replicate that against Croatia and Spain.

In the 10 games before the tournament,we conceded 3 goals.

The truth is that Trappatoni slightly overestimated his own players and had them play in a way that they weren't equipped to as otherwise before this tournament it wasn't the case.

Not many European teams have talent to play well face to face against Spain. Italy show they can, we can, Germany can and maybe Portugal and France. England maybe. We will see about Croatia, but I doubt.

Spain routine win and they should be Croatia. I am hoping for a last hoorah from Ireland and they beat Italy!!!!!

I’m kinda sad about the Irish. Not football wonders but I always loved them as a people (the country, the mythology, the music etc). Their fans were great too.

Spain did fine and we saw some of the greatest midfield fluidity in the tournament.
For now I can only see Germany vs Spain in the final

Torres played excellent. With his second I thought the shot was going wide but he beautifully put it through the right hand bottom corner. Iniesta and Silva were :bow:

and Fabregas sub I thought was strange. I thought Llorente might have come on thoguh Fab did fab with the goal so credit to him for that.
