A NUFC journo replied to him as well who said he has been told the same thing by his sources so i think the info might be legit.

Usually if its an ITK then journo's dont even bother and i just checked he's a former NUFC player who has contacts inside the club.

We could use him well though. Kaka was injured for well over a month and yet he managed to make 40 odd appearances over the season. Challenging at all 3 ends requires a competitive squad and Silva will only make us better.

All said and done, this will happen only if we manage to sell Kaka. Don't see the point otherwise.

Silva is not coming to be a sub. Either of Ozil or Di Maria will be benched. If Silva comes & the chances of him coming are less,but if he comes Di maria will be benched & he is not good enough to be a starter anyway.

Silva could play between the midfield pivot and the attack. Sort of like what Kroos does for Bayern. The chemistry between Ozil and Silva would be fantastic to watch considering how swift they are with the ball.

As for Di Maria, I wouldn't say he's bad. He's certainly good enough to be a starter. He'll provide that something extra when needed and his work rate is second to none so he'll definitely be a great asset to have. 5 players for 3 positions. They'll have enough play time.

City are not going to sell Silva, it's one hell of a pipe dream. It's better to ignore those shenanigans in the press, because nothing will happen at the end of the day. And again, misguided effort on the market, priorities should be a CM and a RB, not one more AM that doesnt improve our balance. I would rather spend all those millions on Yaya lol

Silva is not even good, how long did he go without impressing in EPL, Toure did more offensive work than he did plus more defensive, apart from Xavi and Busquits this guy is a liability to Spain, would rather have had Benat been called up than this guy
