what is this technology exactly. is it for offsides as well as well as other things, not just to see if the ball has crossed the line. they don't need to be using if its something like this if its expensive and hard to implement across games around the world. we've had video tech for years. how hard is it for the ref to use an ear piece and be corrected by somebody watching the broadcast.
