i'd rather have palacio than destro for this season

Destro has officially joined Roma. Thoughts?

I like Palacio. He's a good player, and he's a proven goal machine in Serie A. Age means nothing, Milito was old when we signed him from Genoa and he turned out great. Not saying that means Palacio will succeed because Milito did, but if we look at the Serie A top scorers chart, it is dominated by over-30s (Ibra, Milito, Di Natale, Palacio, Miccoli). Not to mention Genoa was one of the worst sides in Serie A this past season, and Palacio STILL scored 19 goals.

Now for some strange reason, everybody is acting like Destro is a top world-class player - he's not, he's just young and admittedly scored decent amount of goals for a pretty banal side, but the fact that all the top Italian clubs are drooling over him like this just shows how much the quality has dropped in the league. Destro isn't special and Palacio will be a hit.
