I have no doubts about palacios ability for next season. Let's be honest, we're gonna be fighting for a CL place and that's it. Which is fine by me, as long as we actually use players like castaignos, longo and whomever else (young) intermittently, to groom them for the future.

But there in lies the problem, we buy these youngsters only to have them warm the bench or go out on loan bc of unrealistic expectations. and we dont buy anyone worth a damn bc of the fact that the wily old vets' contracts don't count for FFP, so they keep them on way past their due date, so to speak.
