Today my team should have won and I LOVE THEIR PERFORMANCE today they were flawless and tbh I expect some respect to be shown at least for me who always posts here and shows respect :/ Palacio's was not penalty only because of the ball contact that pirlo had. Don't start that debate it can go to the handballs from genoa to the goal which was not offside but still I loved our team today and I am proud of them without Barzagli,Chillini,Bonucci we managed this and we are picking our form again esp Vucinic.
anyways If you win the title since you are +4 p I want to congt u even thou there are still matches )
cheers
I'm not thinking about that incident in stoppage time, that was not a penalty. But it was contact when Palacio was tryin to shoot and someone step on his foot.
And i said that earlier on Milan part of the forum. That was meant to be to Milan fans not Juve fans. I dont have anything against Juventus. They are my second team. My only brother is a huge Juve fan so i want them to be succesful aswell. But only after us, ofcourse.
Yes Milan section but this is forum where all ppl post and show respect showing that they are big ppl ) and that also wasn't penalty there was minimal touch no ref will whistle that as I said if we go that way we should have had 2 penalties for clear handball :/
ITs football :/
Do not misspell football
Anyway, I just wanted to say the trolling relationship of Milan and Juventus is really funny and I stand at my point, Napoli will end your run
For people who can't find it

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
The cup I wanted but it was never important this season. However, Del Piero needed to go out better than this. Congrats to Napoli they wanted it more even though we could all argue about reffereeing decisions but I don't want to on this occasion. I just want to thank Del Piero for everything and our league streak is still alive.

I am going to predict at some point next season. AC Milan will lose. And when it happens I will bump this thread with my mighty quote prediction.

Today we outplayed Juventus albeit it was their second string players. Their fault. I am not like Madrid fans and di not come here to gloat. I came here top pay respects to a man that has done a lot for the reputation of Italian football. Goodbye Del Piero, you will be missed.
Hopefully next season we can bounce back and go back into the champions league.

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
Congrats Napoli. You guys outplayed us for sure, but we were missing Chiellini and Storari had a horror show. Not to mention i still say Borriello sucks. Still dont get why a third string Roma striker is starting for us. Doesnt make sense. Anyways, congrats. But our record is still intact in the league, tho i do obviously wish we won. Ale deserved a better sending off, but its okay. I hope before he retires we give him a farewell game. He deserves it.

There was penalty which the ref didn't see for us in the first half but still deserved victory for Napoli.

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
only thing to look forward to this match was del piero, great italian player, will never forget his euro 98, 00, 2004 qualy campaign where he was top scorer alongside pippo, will never forget del piero who bailed out azzurri in group stage against mexico in 2002 when it looked like italy may go out. then 2006 world cup.
great man. have personal respect for him for his charity donation for victims of earthquake in japan. very kind and respectful guy always polite always kind on and off pitch and even to opponents. the only guys i respect in juve team.. del piero buffon and pirlo the rest are... sorry lol.

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
Spot on Potential.. Napoli deserved the cup and congrats to them , you could see they wanted it more .
Mazzari deserves a lot of credit for all he has done at Napoli , though it's only logical they all talk about Cavani , Lavezzi and Hamsik.
Honourable mentions to Cannavaro , Inler and De Sanctis as well , very good final.
Aronica as classless as one can get..
As for Juventus , they lost the cup due to Conte's emotional selective approach to the game ; Mainly due to Buffon , apparently the Cup is Storari's competition , but one can argue why he didn't just play Del Piero on the 2nd half , because Napoli's defenders were still fresh to deal with the aging legend.
Also , whilst Mazzari begun with his best 11 , the so called Lippi's-heir-and-worldclasscoach-Conte chose to begin the match with Storari , Estigarribia , Del Piero , Borrielo , Quagliarella . That was either too arrogant or simply naive .
Napoli then brought their A game , Pirlo and Vidal had an off day , the rest couldn't be the protagonists and the rest are history .
In conclusion , Juventus's unbeaten run of not winning the cup for 17+ years still intact
In fact , here's a rare image of Juventus's last domestic Cup title , GL-exclusive !

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
I'm not that bothered tbh.
Napoli deserved to win, and it was that way since the beginning of the match. They were the better team last night.
The unbeaten run is just a number to me, so it doesn't bother me much that we lost.

Re: Juventus unbeaten run
Conte played the same players who beat Roma and Milan in the coppa, they only deserved to play in the final.
Still a spectacular season, unfortunately for Alex it couldn't end on a high.
And Quagliarella did not start the match.
And Napoli did deserve this win, good for them.
