River and Boca are after declining Serie A stars

The latest transfer rumors in Argentina are placing Gattuso in Boca, who has admitted to wanting to play in La Bombonera for a few years now, and Del Piero and Camoranesi at River Plate, with Trezeguet behind this move.

Trezeguet is already playing at River and has quickly become a fan favorite, scoring 12 in 16 aps, but starting less matches than goals he has scored. Riquelme has claimed Trezeguet is the best 9 in Argentine football, in spite of playing in the second division for River.

Highly doubt ADP would go there though.

If it actually happened, RP would be my second team.

I've caught a few River games recently and Trezeguet has performed very well in the ones i've seen

BEFORE they were totally washed up shitfaces, lifted the trophy in 2007, with said italian shitface´s self inflicted goal, after all the other italian/English/Portuguese/Spanish shitfaces bought all our best players, and still needed the best BRASILIAN player to win.

RIGHT, because PALERMO is a nobody. and PALACIOS, who if I´m not mistaken is one of the top scorers in the serie A goalscorers list, another nobody.

The Argentine Primera is fine without Italians. Wish I could say the same about Serie A without Argentinos

actually , people used to call them washed up and finished even then , it's not like they were youngsters in December of 2007 !

And that "fine" depends ; if it is so fine , then why the Argentinos keep going to other leagues and many of them wanted to play with those washed up Italian shitfaces ? because it's 'finer' elsewhere

But yes, I agree with your point. A 30+ team from the top leagues would walk that championship.

A 30+ team from any of the Top 4 Leagues would beat any MLS, Argentine, or even Brazilian team.
