1 stat that makes me sick:
Bought for £20 Million from Villa, English Winger Stuart Downing.
EPL statistics for Downing: 0 Goals and 0 Assists.
From August to May.

Newcastle halved thier wage bill, sold half a team and ended climbing 7 positions from last year.

So many points to make this season.... Im not sure but for those of u that follow most of the leagues in the past years, how has this year compared?
For me its been one of the more entertaining with some shocks indeed...
EPL - was a bit boring at times becos watching a so so Man U leading with the other teams just struggling largely.... was not very appealing. Although the end was brilliant, Man City!
La Liga - obviously the big focus as a Barca fan, sad to see Real beat us, although still a good season for us, especially happy with Messi winning the pichici, etc, new players settle in. Sad of cos Pep is leaving.... its been season for Real in the league more....their season which they have done amazingly well... hopefully we will bounce back next season. Atletico Madrid with Simone and Falcao etc, was a big surprise surge in the second half of the season. Bilbao and Bielsa I cant help but feel a bit overrated now since they promised so much but just couldnt do it consistently. Villarreal dropping down is bit sad... Malaga and PEllegrini proved their worth..... pretty good La Liga season overall speaking.
Serie A - Napoli promised a lot, kinda disappointed in the end a bit. Inter just took too long to sort themselves out and beaten by LAzio to miss Europe I think? Or will they be in Europa? Biggest story is obviously Juve, they might even do the double, which is amazing considering they have not been even competiting for titles or challenge for so many years.... credit to Conte.... Milan and the rest, did ok.... Udinese in CL for me is just g4y
Bundesliga - Dortmund domination wtf....sad for Bayern and me as I support them....hopefully they will win the CL!!! I prefer them over Chelsea much more now....I used to like Chelsea a few years back when they challenged Man U but not anymore, they way they beat Barca well well done but anti football u feel a bit... Rest of the teams I dont hold too much opinion....
French league - Montpellier should win the title which means I win some money PSG probablhy will dominate next year but not this year so soon
CL and Europa - Real big upsets, Atletico winning it twice in 3 years now....amazing....and Bayern vs Chelsea....when would have loved it to be Real vs Barca....
Overall very good season I think, hope for more of the same or better next season, HURRAY~!

EPL: Still the most dramatic and exciting league in the word, not in term of quality though.
La Liga: Mou finally brought down the Guardiola's kingdom and marked the end of an era.
Serie A: the first team in Serie A history to win the league without losing a single game, epic comeback from Juventus.
Bundesliga: Dortmund proving that you can play sexy football and get result at the same time.

The quality of the BPL is just as good (maybe even better) than the other leagues ....

So Wiki deceived me ? :vagi:
Juventus went through the season without a single defeat (the first team ever to do so in a 38 game league season in Italy)

According to James Richardson and Gabrielle Marcotti anyway.....
Possibly Milan's wasnt in a 38 game season
Edit: Yeah Milan did it in a 34 game season.
