How highly do you rate Cavani?

I know they've played less minutes but Its easier to score goals If you play for Real Madrid.

Who do you think we're discussing? Torres?

Benzema can score, he isn't far off Cavani's standards in that aspect. He is also MUCH more involved in attacking play compared to Cavani.

I'd take Benzema anyday over Cavani.

So was Cavani better than Ibra last season?

Cavani has scored 7 more goals in Serie A over the last two seasons after all.

cavani also takes napolis penelties, higuain and benzema doesnt

Higuain is the best finisher in real madrid squad and one of the best in the world,does not stopped Mourinho from benching him for Benzema.

This is the best example why Cavani is a better player. Huntelar could not score in Serie A, was stripped of the ball more than keep the ball because of the type of defending in Serie A. Cavani, can cope with Serie A defenses. Plus Cavani is playing games against 4-5 very strong clubs in Serie A. Higuain play against really only one strong club and Huntelar maybe against 2 strong club at most. Gomez play against 1 strong club regularly.

I mean when Zlatan was in La Liga the kid was just lighting up the terraces.

Stop overrating Serie A.... It's endlessly overrated, I swear the teams in La Liga are tougher than Serie A. You've Bilbao and Atletico in Europa League proving that.

Not to mention it's almost as much of a 2 horse race like La Liga.....

that's nice statistics and usefull , but do you know what they say about statistics...

they are mini skirts in women , they are nice to watch but they hide the most important of stuff !

For example , the missed shots , how many Ronaldo has missed this year only ? Surely even more than Cavani But , one would be mad if he questioned Ronaldo's precision or his goalscoring abilities..

Cavani's goals against big teams and in the CL , were quite something to achieve with Napoli , which are a great team but not like Real by any means.

Not to mention hat tricks against Milan and Juventus. There are more , but anyway , i am not questioning Higuain's abilities in front of the goal ,
but these don't throw Cavani out of the debate at all.

Cavani is one of the best CFs in the world at the moment and it's only logical to compare him with other top CFs. Still , despite the stats you provided , Cavani has over 30 goals and that is quite something for a CF who plays for the 5th team in Italy.

I can't belive how pathetic some fans could be.. Cavani scored the same amount of goals like Higuain and Benzema.

Put Cavani in la liga and you have a 35-40 goals per season...

Isn't Higuain and Benzema better than Gomez to? Beacause he scored only 26 in Bundesliga, and he played all season.. OO i forgot they are better than inzaghi to, when he was at his best of his career.

That's because Zlatan was being played out of position and his style didn't suit Barcelona at all.Everyone knows that Its much easier to score in La Liga than Seria A.

My honest opinion ? I think if it were in my hand , i would take Cavani instead of Ibra. Cavani at Milan would do even better in my opinion than Ibra does at the moment..

that's not an argument either, it really doesnt mean anything. He is the center piece of his team, and he is their top scorer.

"5th best team in italy" doesnt mean that napoli is not able to crate chances for him, or that he deserves any special credit for that.

Now serie A overrating . Its no better than Any other leagues peeps. Infact Serie A was most goal scored league after EPL last year ,another myth about serie A

cavani is poor in tech, but his finishing is great and u say gomez ? .... Cavani in big club with light up and tear apart in league he is beast

you do realize that Benzema and Higuain are sharing time right? while Cavani is without competition. and Neither Higuain or Benzema are our primary striking option.
