'Ganso could be a possible target for Milan' - AC Milan advisor Serginho

If anyone's been watching Ganso this year, they will know he's at least close to his best again. Last year was full of injuries and such, which resulted in weak performances, but this year he seems fit and eager to prove himself (possibly because he wants to go to Europe at the next transfer window).

What do you guys, especially AC Milan fans, think? Should he go? Should they buy him?

As a Santos fan, I hope not. But if he is to leave, I hope it's to AC Milan... that or Barcelona. (hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe).

He won't be cheap, but our club president has made it clear that he's willing to negotiate his price (differently from neymar's case).

You do need your young generation to get accustomed to play european defenses before 2014, so it's a good move.

why would milan need ganso? they already have "mr. x "norcerino

For Ganso its probably a good thing.

However, I do worry. Boateng plays that role and given the current style, teammates..I honestly think he suits it better.

Ganso is unlucky in that way..he is an old school player, and now people want more physical tools for the position than he perhaps has.

Ganso at AM and Boateng at CM?

i always thought he would play in the LM role for us... what seedorf used to play, and boateng would be left at AM, nocerino can be RM, and need a new DM to replace van bommel though.

I think Milan are rumored to have signed Acerbi(CB) though Mexes will be first choice i reckon.

I'm afraid there are not too many freebie quality players atm..So they have to find some sort of new strategy if they have to improve their squad.

They need a creative player like Ganso.

Yes.

Boateng is way too reckless and isnt tactically fit for that role.

AM is his best and natural position.

decent signing but i dont think milan need another player with constant injury problems.

I disagree about Boateng being a natural AM. He lacks a certain element in that role. Its true that he is not great defensively, but he is much more physically suited as a CM/B2B. Nocerino can balance him off the other side.

Not perfect, could work though. Better than switching Ganso and Boateng, IMO.

It all looks good on paper but there is a reason why Allegri doesnt play him there cuz tactically he isnt the most ideal player in that position he lacks tactical discipline ,even Nocerino is a good player tactically..

And have you seen how reckless he is in his tackling ?He is a red card waiting to happen ,even worse than MVB and Flamini.Only positive that would go in favor of him is that he is a good presser..

Besides he is a goal threat ,got that occasional tricks and flicks up his sleeve and has formed good chemistry with likes of Ibra and Robinho as their linkup has been generally good.Maybe natural is not the right word to use but it seems to me that ,that is where he works best.He's a different breed of AM.. physical ,athletic and has got a very good shot on goal.

Not the ideal characteristics of an ideal AM but he seems to have slotted well in Allegri's system.

we dont spend,specially on good players

and ganso plays a pseudo am role,he spends more time playing a cm role than am.ganso has more talent on his left foot than boateng in his entire body.

Such a waste of an AM spot, though, that place should really go to someone with excellent vision and technical skills. I guess Boateng's natural spot would be on the side of a 4-2-3-1?
