I don't think he'd start at Bayern either, but he'd certainly be the first choice sub if either of Kroos or Schweinsteiger are out, and he might even rotate in for both of them, so he'd probably end up starting more than half the matches of the season, I'd guess.

Why would he move to Bayern when Alonso is going to be 31 and clearly can't play all games full season?

Mou already has said he will get his chances next season.

Alonso is not gonna be playing 4500 minutes next season unless Mou is secretly trying to kill him.

Because, this season, he repeatedly has NOT subbed in Sahin when Alonso went off, at Bayern he would be the immediate first choice to replace either of Kroos or Schweinsteiger, he'd be closer to home, and if Bayern really want him, he might be in for a raise.

The Poland international is a €10 million target for Real .

Well Dortmund aren't stupid, if they sell Piszczek, he'll be expensive enough to buy them a new RB, and another depth player.

Doesnt work like that. He wasnt subbed because he was injured twice after the long term injury and Mou dont like unfit and rusty players. Plus ,he was still very new to the team.

Again,what is he gonna do at Bayern?

Bastian and Kroos are very young. Play as a sub for ever or Take over Alonso who is 31 in couple of months ?

Which is easier ,getting into Madrid midfield or displacing a already settled Midfield of Bayern?

Well, I guess Dortmund are already not amused that they were forced to let Sahin leave on the cheap, so they won't do that again when they are not forced to. And the player's agent doesn't really have a say in the transfer when there is a long term contract still running - in that case only the club has the say, and Zorc said "no way".

Thesame reasons why Boateng left HSV and one year later he's a Bayern player.

Bayern just defeated Madrid in cpl, plus Sahin is used to Bundesliga, all this are sufficient to land him.

But the problem will be Madrid board, Apparently they want Schweini and Bayern are not willing to negotiate.

It's different when you win a Bundesliga with a team for the first time in how long? 10-12 years....you're their player of the season.

You don't just transfer to their biggest rivals a year later man.

That will hurt Dortmund fans.

I'd be amazed if Real Madrid even consider to inquire for Schweinsteiger. They should know from the Ribéry case that Bayern doesn't sell if they don't want to, no matter the money involved. And yeah, that would make Real less inclined to sell their players to Bayern...

If Sahin gave half a shit about Dortmund, he wouldn't have gone to Real directly after winning the title, I don't think he cares.

That being said, Sahin certainly won't be played together with Schweinsteiger, they're too similar, that's just Schweinsteiger and Kroos all over again - he'll probably rotate with both of them if he comes.

And if Bayern are after him, and they're after him seriously enough that Honigstein feels comfortable enough talking about it, they will probably have inquired before, whether he would potentially move to Munich, and whether Reale would sell at some point.

And unless both of those have been answered with, at least a conditional, "yes", they probably wouldn't even have considered Sahin.

Barca, and Real, are known to go after players they want publicly, and just go and try, though. I'm not trying to hype up Bayern, it's just the way they do business, it's all very hush-hush, and if there's serious rumors (if Honigstein said it, it's serious) they actually think they can pull it off, and aren't just trying.

BTW considering Götze to Barca... Would be great for both Barca and Götze imho, he fits their style reasonably well, and would be pretty perfect for their right flank.
Dortmund are, ATM, saying "not for sale", though and I believe them. Götze got 4 more years on his contract, I think, so there's no reason to sell, especially since he's a Dortmund youth player and possibly a future club legend. I very much think Dortmund are trying to build a dynasty atm, and they don't need the money. They have signed very good prospects and now have enough depth to paly in Europe for at least two seasons. They will look to strenghten their squad, even more so than they did with the signing of Reus, not weaken it, no matter the balance with the banks, and they've even reported a profit so far.

So, move would be brilliant for Barca, reasonably good for Götze, bad for Dortmund - I don't see it happening, but I wouldn't have too much against it.

Frankly finding a DLP on this market is hard enough, we are not going to sell Sahin without giving him a proper chance.

That's the reality of the market as of now. we are looking to make signings to improve our depth and get stronger, not to sell potentially great players.

Whatever Bayern strategy is, if they put it out there, it's their strategy. The answer will be no, and he is going to get his chance next season if things go accordingly.
