Juventus after Werder Bremen Defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos...
Werder Bremen lost another regular player? Italy's record champions Juventus is reportedly interested in signing of Bremen's defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and lures with the Champions League.
Werder Bremen is probably the nearest outlet of a service provider to the house. After Claudio Pizarro, who is drawn well back to FC Bayern Munich goalkeeper Tim Wiese is, according to "Bild" Sokratis Papastathopoulos on the shopping list of Italy's record champions and current league leaders Juventus.
Juve could buy the 23-year-olds, also play the Italians next season, safe in the Champions League. "If a club has interest from abroad, he must turn to Werder Bremen" Sokratis consultant Nikos Klitsidis is quoted on "Bild.de".
Bremen has taken until mid-April, the purchase option for the Greek center-back and paid 3.5 million euros to FC Genoa, his contract läut 2016.
Sokratis stressed repeatedly in recent weeks that his stay in Bremen with reaching the Champions League was not related.
Werder currently ranks only eighth place in the Bundesliga, three points behind an EL place at two outstanding games.
Werder missed the international competition could be a wash sale of Sokratis money in not more bloated coffers of the Weser club. Also, money is the surprising change from Marko Marin to Chelsea.
