From Baggio to Alex. Two of our greatest legends throughout history. Two of the worlds best players in their time. Two idols. Two 10s. Alex will probably not be in our squad for the next season and as he leaves the #10 is available again, but to whom? The importance of a new world class player is enormous. Should our next high-profile striker wear the shirt?
Damiao? Giovinco? Higuain? Tevez? Munian? Dzeko? Cavani? etc

And yes. I'm back for good. Travelled the world for 3.5 months and finally back in Denmark. Missed you guys even though i kept myself a little updated once in a while. Cool

I think that number 10 is a problem; on last decade there were players like

DEL PIERO, NEDVED, KAKA, TOTTI, ZIDANE, RONALDINHO, IBRAHIMOVIC who I consider as number 10 players

now the only number 10 who is on the level of those players is MESSI

but football is not only about number 10 players ; you can see players like HENRY, C RONALDO, DROGBA, SHEVCHENKO, ETO they can also win you the games

so if JUVENTUS cannot find a great number 10 like DEL PIERO we need to stick keep VUCINIC who has some game vision and bring players like ETO + C RONALDO who I see that are more easy found on this decade

I cant believe that some people mention Giovinko as Del Piero's heir or next no. 10 ..That is impossible ..!!!!!!!

Yep. The current football world offers creative wingers (Hazard) and creative midfielders(Eriksen), not straight up creative strikers.. Id love to continue the #10 era if possible but its a tough call.

LUCA tell me how can BARCELONA replace POYOL, ABIDAL, DANI ALVES, XAVI, DAVID VILLA if they don't sell MESSI with over 10 mil wage??

If I am not wrong they are already on dept of 500 million

Messi to Juventus is a joke. We would have to spend at least 100m if not more. Not a chance.

On the creative #10 subject I really like the Pasquato/Insigne type. It would be a plus if he were italian, at least for me since he could shine his way into the azzurri just like Del Piero did. Big fan of Italy right here.

Shame that tomorrow will be the last Del Piero vs Totti. But with Pasquato, Insigne, Giovinco and El Sharaawy coming through italian creative future looks bright.
