Wtf is the ref doing!!!??????! Refs almost NEVAH give two yellow cards for two yellow card offences!!!! They almost always don't give a yellow card in the first yellow card foul, or are very wary to hand out the second even when its a clear yellow-card foul!!!!!!!!

Maxi Pereire wasn't dirty or agressive, he only did two yello-card offences, hence, he should have never been sent off!!

Not just that did you see the Penalty kick he gave Chelsea? Cole had no chance to reach the ball so it doesn't matter that the guy took him out. Cole should have done better to avoid the tackle, wasn't that the popular opinion on here a week ago with Alexis penalty that wasn't given?

And that second yellow for a bookable offense is just obvious cheating. UEFA wants the big teams in the semi's, what more proof do you need, what a conspiracy.

Both decisions were correct. Benfica did their best to throw the game away in both ties.

Since PK offences according to the rules not allowed because other refs don't allow them sometimes.

i really dont know what to say here, i didnt watch the game but it sounds like 2 yellow card offenses..

but coming from a barca fan this thread sounds very hypocritical considering all the claims about "foul in the box absolute penalty"

doesnt sound too far off of "2 yellow card offenses, 2 yellow cards shown"

the OP has a genuine point, don't simply disregard him because of his affiliation with the best club in the world. The referee won it for Chelsea because had it been 11 vs 11, Benfica would have hulk-smashed the club from London to oblivion.

He is mocking the logic that you guys use when you are talking about barca. You know stonewall penalties not being penalty because the ref followed the rules..
