Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich(Clash of the Titans)
It's 50/50 IMO.
We're almost equal on every position but we're clearly better in the CB department.
We have to abuse their weakness (Badstuber) so basicly Özil has to exploit what Badstuber is gifting him. However, we're abit weak on the wings... If we don't have Di Maria back, I think Ribery is gonna punish us hard.

StevieRayVaughan wrote:I think talent wise both the teams are quite similar in most aspects. I rate Di Maria/Robben quite similarly, Gomez or Benz/Higuain, Ribery or Ozil, Kaka or Kross. Different types of players, but similar abilities.
But,
I think from Madrid's point of view, the two difference makers are Ronaldo and Mou, this is something that they have an advantage over Bayern. It will probably be the second best game of the season behind the Schalke-Atletico Madrid in Europa final
Bayern also has their fair share of Advantages in having two equally match and the most dangerous wingers in the world playing on both side of the pitch, which makes it hard to defend against.
Also you have the Schweinsteiger Factor and our current coach used to be Madrid coach, so he should know one or two things about Madrid still, plus Robben will want to get one.
Based on the last time we played Madrid with our b team in some friendly, if Madrid come up against us like that, they will be destroyed. but this is no friendly.
it's gonna be a though match, it's looks to me either Neuer or Casillas will decide this match.

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich(Clash of the Titans)
Özil's not facing Badstuber, dude. He's against Schweini, Kroos and Gustavo.
Now Benzema could have a field day with Badstuber, although good thing Boateng is there to back him up.
It will be an awesome game.
Please play Marcelo.

Badstuber is so going to surprise this guys, they don't know him.

Marcelo won't play if he continues the form he has right now...
Too inconsistent this season. Coentrao will most likely play unless injured.

Badstuber's problem against Madrid would be pace, but good thing he reads the game very well and there's the mentioned Boateng backing him up.Idrisozet wrote:Sushi Master wrote:Özil's not facing Badstuber, dude. He's against Schweini, Kroos and Gustavo.

Bayern vs. Madrid will be kinda like Barca vs. Madrid. Bayern will dominate possession, but in counter attacks Madrid is king.
Exactly why I want Marcelo played, Madrid fans . Robben-Lahm would have a field day.

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich(Clash of the Titans)
Benz isn't really going up against Badstuber either....he drops deep and goes wide most of the time......whoever is the defender who'll follow him to the spaces he takes will be the one he goes against.
Higuain if anyone would be better against badstuber or Boateng specifically.
But the 3 Bayern mids will have an extremely difficult time dealing with Benz and Ozil link up.
Badstuber is hardly Bayern's weakness , but he is slow, that much will cause him some trouble.

Madrid's are clear Favourite but Bayern are not under-dog either.
60 to 40 in favour of Madrid.
LMAO , you have spent half your time on this forum telling people just how and why exactly madrid are inferior to Bayern and calling us cocky or whatever.. now please dont eat humble pie before the tie ..

what exactly will jyupp know ,he coached us 14 years ago lol ..
plus that friendly match was not a fair representation of the two team's strengths (though we still won) since we had scarcely played a month under mou or something.

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich(Clash of the Titans)
Bayern don't have a weakness now that Lahm is back in his flank and Alaba is doing well. Also, Schwein's fit. It will be an extremely even match.
Why are we circle jerking over this when there are still 4 games to be played?
Droit FC and Lex FC and so easily deceive anyone if any complacency is detected.

Idrisozet is a complex guy. You don't expect at all what he's going to come up with.
In other words, he's the perfect troll. I love how everyone ended up hating Bayern after his epic Kroosfest. He did it all by himself and I must respect

I agree. This will be a game with 50/50% possession. I'm expecting us to press hard and try to push Bayerns fullbacks back.

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich(Clash of the Titans)
The only team that can come close to Barca's possession stats are Bayern... It won't be 50/50, more like 60/40.
Probably not more than that, but if you half watch any Bayern match you will know we keep possession very well. More so with the Pigster back.

So you will have us running after the ball like Barca does to other teams? lol
I hope that tiki taka is on point because the pressing we will put on you will have some fans piss themselves

Although in a good game Bayern totally do just that. Not likely against Madrid, obviously.
And it's not against pub teams. I'm talking CL matches here. City, Napoli etc. And if we go past CLs there's a huge ammount of teams Bayern have raped (possession wise).

Real Madrid are one of the top possession sides in Europe. Bayern are too, however I think Real Madrid are superior to Bayern, so hopefully we'll have more possession.

Having high possession stats does not mean you're a good possession team. Where's Franchise when you need him

What matters is how you use your ball when you have the possession over it.Sushi Master wrote:Having high possession stats does not mean you're a good possession team. Where's Franchise when you need him
Its gonna be fun seeing Bayern back passing to each other, to not give the ball away
