Well we are known for making at least one ridiculously overpriced signing every now and then.
We don't go lecturing other clubs when they make their signings though. :vagi:
30 million for Cointhrow >>>>>> 25 million for Chygirsbwgdivugdiqbdwuinsky

Barca financially solidified themselves for several years with the endorsement contracts they executed this year. Money is no longer a worry for them unfortunately.
It's funny because I remember them lecturing us about spending wisely and not inflating the market back when we were doing it lol
We're still doing it for Portuguese players lol... but i think the EPL has inflated values much more than us recently.
Deloitte's 2012 analysis is a great read: http://www.deloitte.com/view/en_GB/uk/industries/sportsbusinessgroup/sports/football/deloitte-football-money-league/9db981f2bd415310VgnVCM1000001a56f00aRCRD.htm

It's not like Neymar played well in Peru either trolololol, inbeforethepitchwasinapoorstate
I still like Neymar, but i also dont think he is absolutely worth breaking your bank for. he belongs in the same class of talent as many youngsters out there so that's that.
@rsinatra, we can take no for an answer lol, neymar refused to come now, and we said ok and we moved on. dont know what you are talking about.
Someone give me Deulofeu's representations, he is gonna need a new club soon.

lol
No wonder they have no money lmao
In any case after watching that appalling match the other day, give me Lucas ^.^
when did this lucas hype start again? this is the second RM fan saying it already. is it because y'all wanna look like u dont care about neymar no more? trolololo
but seriously, you do know that he is not as good as neymar, right? he's a great player, above average, but has a lot of ups and downs, and will take some time to mature. either way, it's pretty much agreed that neymar is the boy to go for if you really want someone special..
if this is because lucas was the best player in the match against santos two days ago, okay. but let us remember that it was a match in which neymar, ganso or any starter should NOT have be playing, after going all the way to Pery on thursday to play on the world's worst pitch, and then take a 12-hour return trip home.. they were completely worn out. it was a very unwise decision to field them.
if neymar wouldnt get a spot in real madrid, i think it will be even harder for lucas.. let our kids develop!
Maybe but he won't cost 60 million.
(I'd rather have Ganso but whatever lol)

it wasnt inbeforepitchwasniapoor .. that was in my post already: "after going all the way to Peru on thursday to play on the world's worst pitch"
lucas has a pretty expensive price tag too, man. i think sao paulo will only let him go for a good amount of money.
gone are the days in which a club would buy a a brazilian wonderkid for 5m and then resell him for 60. now it's 60 from the beginning , or at least 25, 30..... unless Lucas really wants to go, and he's said before that his time to leave hasn't come, and with neymar in brazil i dont think he'd be afraid to stay too. or unless sao paulo needs any kind of money really bad.
about the "taking no for an answer", i was referring to the point that the guy seemed to be really mad at neymar's daddy and was all like "u should be happy we want to buy him" and stuff. as if he was used to always getting a "YES RM IS MY DREAM PLEASE TAKE ME!!"

Re: Neymar failed to understand that R.Madrid are biggest club
Peeps need to realize that we've reformed at Madrid... we only overpay for Portuguese speaking players now
To me, the value of a player is relative. For example, Neymar may be worth 50 million to Madrid and 30 million to City... Why? Because Madrid has such a larger fanbase that their revenue on Neymar would far exceed City's.
To generally value player for the entire market is flawed reasoning imo.

ganso might actually be easier to get, since he wants to leave soon.. but where would he play for real madrid?? remember he's more of a fine passing guy, not the speedy-always-running type.... for some reason i can't him at RM either lol, but just because of his style.. i might be completely wrong though, you are welcome to enlighten me

We need more composed passers on the team + a replacement for Kaka. I think he would do quite well provided he is willing to put in the extra effort.
Anyway our game is not based on constant running (That's Bielsa's thing lol) it's based on quick transition and a great passer of the ball like Ganso can be useful for that.
We can turn him into a better athlete as well, we've done this for Higuain, Ozil, Benzema etc.

Re: Neymar failed to understand that R.Madrid are biggest club
I wouldnt pay 60 mill for nerman,he has yet to prove he is worth at least 30.Currently isnt better than any of the first 11 players Barca or real have so i certainly dont fancy him to move only to sit on bench.
Rossell did the right thing imo (if the source is reliable),wait untill he mature as a player and judge his potential then.Come 2013 he will be almost 21 and will be good enough age to pass a judgement about potential.

He's actually already becoming a "modern "player, running more and helping the team.. Muricy Ramalho is helping him a lot with that. And now he's finally fit for it. I mean,he's always been good, but he used to be like a vintage player playing modern football.
Kaká has a speed that Ganso doesn't, but the latter's passing ability more than makes up for it. The ball can run much faster than any player .
And Santos' president has admitted the possibility of selling him for a lower price (compared to his pricetag), but he'll still cost a bit. I haven't heard of any real RM interest though...?

60 million is honestly too much for a teenager. With that said, Neymar would be better at Barcelona than Real. Only issue I have is his stupid hairstyle...can't stand that frizzle fowl look.

Re: Neymar failed to understand that R.Madrid are biggest club
To be honest I don't really care if he goes to Barca, no matter how talented he is since I have always prefer Götze anyway. Biggest turnoffs in Neymar are his demand to be a starter and his price tag. I'm quite sure that with 60mil we would be able to get any young talent in Europe as long as they're not from Barca, like Götze, Hazard, Muniain, etc.
btw, Cadena Ser is reporting that Barca has already paid 1/4 of his price which is 14.5mil (total 58mil) and transfer will go through 2014. Seems quite risky business...

this is coming from a santos fan right ? Lucas is faster, stronger, has better technique, much more talented.

ROFLMAO
if you understood portuguese, i would recommend u a video of two of Brazil's most respected football journalists, Juca Kfouri (a Corinthians fan, Santos biggest rivals), and Vitor Birner (a São Paulo fan, where Lucas plays - and they are also our rivals), talking about how Lucas is great but people should go easy because he stills has to mature, and how Neymar has far better technique, ability, dribbling, etc, and Lucas probably won't ever reach the same level. They've said that various times, and so have I, and other people. Not that our opinions are the Absolute Truth, but this stuff about "this is coming from a Santos fan" is not true. It comes from anyone.
How many Neymar and how many Lucas games have you watched in the last 2 years? Because I can say for sure that I've watched 95% of all Santos games, and quite a lot of São Paulo ones.
Lucas may even be faster, if he is on a free run, and remembers to look up. But it's debatable, just watch Neymar's goals against Internacional a couple of weeks ago. Stronger depends on how you mean it. Neymar takes much more physical attacks than he does. Now better technique, more talented? LOL ffs

Nerman for 60m in 2014 is not that bad, I couldnt see him leaving Santos at that time for too much less, providing he lives up to his hype and continues to develop at the staggering rate he is atm, but for me, the quicker he gets to Europe, the better as he will need time to adapt. Lol at Lucas Moura, talented kid but not on Nermans level atm.

It's true, he will have to adapt. But the earliest he might leave is 2013, I think.
