Re: Roberto Di Matteo "Buddha"
Since he left, hundreds! First we heard Valencia, then Schalke, then QPR, then Nottingham Forest, then Fulham sometime this week (another one looking like a bust ) and so on. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move abroad as I don't see any higher-end positions opening up in England. There was talk over the summer before he got the permanent deal of Napoli and the sort. Will be interesting to see where he does end up.Motogp69 wrote:Are there any rumors/rumours on where he might end up?

Exactly one year ago on this day, our dear Robbie was appointed manager
And the rest, as they say, is history....
Thank you Robbie, for everything

Re: Roberto Di Matteo "Buddha"
Only vague speculation. We've heard Schalke. Napoli has been mentioned as another possibility, with Mazzarri continuing to unimpress. Fulham has also been rumoured with Jol doing quite poorly and allegedly falling out with some players.Motogp69 wrote:Any rumors or updates on where he might end up?
We'll see I suppose. Don't think he'll go anywhere til summer though.

Re: Roberto Di Matteo "Buddha"
Well, it's that time again.
With Brian McDermott being being sacked by Reading, rumours of Robbie being linked to the position are rife, with some even suggesting he's already been offered the job. Most likely just another red herring though and I'd be absolutely stunned if he went to a club in their position.

Roberto Di Matteo heads list to replace Martin Jol at Fulham:

Rumour I posted several months ago on here. Be interesting to see if he'd hold out for a top job on the continent or go to a mid-table Premier League club so he could stay in England.

I personally don't want RDM in the BPL again, I'd much rather he goes to italy.

Wouldn't mind seeing him at Newcastle myself. Other than there though, I agree, I'd prefer to see him go to Italy or elsewhere.Kick wrote:

Re: Roberto Di Matteo "Buddha"
A big club with a good squad, capable of challenging for European spots, big fanbase, big stadium, and one of the best scouting departments around. It would be a good destination for him if they were to offer it to him.
