Option 1 : Esti as LWB as I think that both Esti and Pepe in LB are better than PDC because PDC is great in attack and lost in defense we conceded to many crosses in our box because of him and to many times he lost his marker. Vidal has played as CB and he has the positioning sense and Caceres was good in last game he can improve with training but he proved that he is better than the last loan. Padoin ANC to protect the defense.

Option 2 : Pepe as LB he has the engine for that unlike esti he can do it he runs his socks off and he hs good tackler he won't let a cross in. Padoin as CB because in Atalanta if some1 remembers he has been a good CB when needed along with caceres. Why? Because the defense will need an ANC to protect them because its shaky I would go with Vidal as ANC and not marchisio because he is not himself lately.

Option 3 : 4-2-3-1 PDC as LB with Padoin and Caceres as CB and Licht for RB. In front of them Vidal and Marchisio as DM and ANC. Pirlo being AM who will go as far as CM and not drop deeper. Esti on the LW because he is good in attack and defense and he can help PDC a lot the same goes for Pepe. The bad thing ? Matri lone striker

Youth? Why play our guys out of position when we have tons of excellent youth players?

because its same as this they need time to gel to get in sync with the other players and time is something we don't have

i dont see estigarribia or pepe doing LB.
our backline will be PDC - Caceres - Vidal - Lichsteiner
with padoin and marchisio upfront.

I would def go with Padoin in center as it makes no sense putting Vidal there when midfield needs him.

I liked what i saw yesterday first of all Bologna is a tough nugget and further they got class up front in shape of Di Vaio plus they are going thru a good period so actually for the first time in sooo many games i think we played decent. Not great or good but atleast better, and thats a start.

I am not excited or glad about Borriello but u guys must have forgotten the strikers of the last 2 seasons clearly.
Borriello and i repeat for u lynx is a very skillfull STRIKER and he will be very usefull if he gets more decent balls to work off.

Esti and Pepe are better LB than PDC he was so weak in the back allowing tons of crosses

I think we would see the best De ceglie in the 3-5-2 but sadly Conte does not agree, every time we play this formation De ceglie wont feature and Esti brings nothing defensively so to me it makes no sense.

De Ceglie because of his physique just needs half a season of games in his legs and he would contribute much more but sadly he will never get that chance.

nah man i think ure wrong Devi. PDC has actually grown a lot this year, he defends decently, has good speed and gets good crosses from time to time. He really is a better player than he was 2-3 years ago.

I wouldnt say he should be our 1st choice LB next year but he can definetly stay as 2nd choice.

I never said he has not grown but he still losses concetration in mid game as the experts said this summer PDC will always be LW nothing else

PDC is good crosser but he is phisically weak and he cant stand the one on one duels.If pepe was left footed then he wouild be one of the greatest LB's around

Agree. However Padoin would be useless in the middle. Id prefer Marrone. Hell even Giacch in the CM (and i DONT think that Giacch is any good there) would be better than Padoin.

Youre dead right. Our record with forwards has been slowly slipping since the golden era of Trez/ADP. But atleast with Matri and Quags we have something of a start that we can work with and improve on. Vucinic is the perenial frustrating under-achiever who will never do his talent justice and will always be a very mediocre player.

Boriello? SKILLFUL?? Hes had enough decent balls to work with so far and Ive seen nothing but disappointment in the last 2 months.

He is useless and more importantly, keeping the better forwards out of the starting line-up.
