Just one Pescara fan showed up to show support to his club in the game against Genoa 477110_587750751244757_335257250_o


Pescara were cheered on by just one supporter at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Sunday’s 4-1 loss at Genoa.

William Gelsomino was given rapturous applause by the home fans for turning up as his side were relegated to Serie B.

Genoa later gifted the supporter an official club shirt, while Rossoblu defender Daniele Portanova shook the fan’s hand at the end of the game.

You guys realise why this has happened right?

The Pescara fans are not happy with the ownership so they are protesting by not going to games and hitting the owners where it hurts.

I wish our fans would do this, Ashley would have sacked Pardew ages ago. Laughing

This guy obviously doesn't really deserve praise for not getting the memo Laughing

Or he bucked the trend and decided to support the players because that's what fans do. He should be commended for that. Genoa correctly recognized it in classy fashion.
