Gigi Buffon is confident that his Juventus side will silence their critics when they take on Bologna in midweek.

The Old Lady are now three points off leaders Milan after failing to beat Chievo Verona at home on Saturday night.

“We’ll transform the disappointment into anger, which we’ll show on the field in the next game,” he told Juventus Channel ahead of Wednesday’s Dall’Ara clash.

“Bologna now await us, who historically have always worked hard and are coming off the back of a series of important results.

“We’ll face them with respect, but also with the desire to continue to dream.

“For us, giving our maximum must be a dogma. That’s why we’ve managed to reach an important position in the table.”

Juve, despite being unbeaten, have been criticised for the amount of times they have drawn this season.

At home, they’ve been held by Bologna, Genoa, Cagliari, Siena and now Chievo – dropping 10 points in the process.

Even though we are in a pretty bad form and also missing out on key players I somehow still have a good feeling about this. Conte and the team will probably feel some pressure after the recent mediocre results, this is the time to bounce back. We have to strengthen our position, even Lazio is catching up now.
4-3-3 should be deployed and I really think we should give either Krasic or Elia a chance to add some spark and speed to the attack.
