No I wouldn't say that's a problem with mine. I lay with them and all (I have 2), but they don't have an obsession with sitting in front of me. In fact, they rarely go on the computer desk.

With my moms laptop it's a bit different, since the keyboard will get hotter as the laptop heats up, one of our cats loves to sit on it, so she will do that yes

But no that will only ever happen if we're gone all day and one of the cats becomes all real cuddly and lovey, then the cat might jump up on the computer chair, lay on my lap, and eventually make the way to on top of the keyboard. But that's rare.

So my answer is a no
