I play in a mixed league, so we always have to have two girls on the pitch. However our girls were late and we had to start without them, 2 vs 4 in the outfield. My friend and I outpossessed and outplayed them for three minutes until our reinforcements arrived, then as soon as they were on the pitch we put it through for them to take the lead.

We blew a 4-1 lead to draw in the end, which was a pity because it was my friend's last game, but it could have been worse. We missed about six 1v1s in the second half but we concede some sloppy chances at the back, I ended up having to make two last man tackles, blocked a shot with my face and nearly punched someone's lights out making a clean but very close clearance in the last five seconds. A penalty and a red would not have been a nice finish had I missed.

There basically wasn't any space between my clenched double fist and this guy's face, I was coming out for an aerial ball as keeper. It was a clean clearance, but very, very close to being nasty.

Spent a week in the summer up in Canada fishing on a lake in a campsite. Flies and mosquitos everywhere. Every single night I would be trying to get to sleep and then.

"BBBBBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" in that really high pitched tone that would ring in my ear and freak me out. I went just about crazy every night trying to make sure that didn't happen. It still scares me, when that happens.

It's just terrible anytime though, even during the day. That noise is...haunting.
