So new reports (goal.com) are suggesting that the Tottenham player is ready to buy out his own contract in order to play somewere else. I'm actually starting to feel bad despite him being a sp*d.
Thoughts?

That's cause he's not really a waste. He's not flopping but unprefered at Spurs. Needs to get out no matter what and go to La Liga.

I said waste of talent because I think he could have developed much more than what he currently is.

If he can do his job now, imagine if he was nurtured for another year or so?

He was loaned out to Racing last year and he was great.

Great player. The talent is there, but he needs to leave Spurms

Its just a complete tragedy, of course im Biased, but i really haven't seen ANY manager out there being so completely negligent on the talent at his disposal. He really must have severely pissed off Redknapp to have COMPLETELY ignored him for, what is it now? 4 years?

theres no excuse why he cant feature for tottenham. he has lots of quality and is certainly better than kranjcar who's getting starts atm

The real question is why the hell would Spuds buy a player for a manager who you have no real interest in anymore?

Spurs probably have atleast 3-4 players for each position...with alot of players rotting on the bench or not even getting on it..

Kranjcar is only getting games this season because huddlestone and VDV are always injured

They had to loan out the likes of Bassong, Corluka, Bentley, Pienaar

and then sell the likes of Crouch, Pav, Hutton, Palacios, Keane, O'Hara

they have the likes of Bently, Jenas, Rose, Sandro who rarely play in

i have no clue where they get all the money to pay these guys....

yeah but it's not like kranjcar is better than aaron lennon...

vdv usally plays behind the striker anyways not on the wing, and vdv cant even last 90 minutes. that's probably another spot where gds could feature....


all those other guys you mentioned actually do get to play at some point, but gio doesnt.

Gio is just getting Nuri Sahined in Spurs. I applaud him if he buys out his own contract, because he deserves better.

just needs a move and it'll be just a matter of time till a big club picks him up .... à la Kevin Prince Boetang
