Sanchez 2-0 England @ Wembley
Chile as a team played really well.

Not only more confident in the Chile shirt, but more selfish. I'm not using the word selfish in a bad way.
Re: "El Niño Maravilla": Alexis Sanchez
Thats a quality finish for the 2nd goal, classy even.

Re: "El Niño Maravilla": Alexis Sanchez
Has slowly but steadily won me over with his performances and character.
I have criticized him a lot the past 2 seasons but he has improved little by little and kept working hard.
Had another excellent game against Celtic. From a player who could do almost nothing right,he now does almost everything right.
I like players like him.Quality players who are also great competitors and give their all for the team.Hope his good form continues and hope he stays here for a long time.

I don't think he played great vs Celtic, just a fantastic ball to Montoya. That aside, an average game. He was also poor vs. Cartagena.

I thought he played well.Pressed extremely well, kept the ball well, took on players and was great in defense.I disagree that he had an average game.
I didnt get to see the Cartagena game as I was busy. Will see it.But even if Alexis was poor,it was just one game.In general he has been very good this season.

I agree alex, i wanted to se him sold, but this season he changed my mind. I always could see that he is a hard worker, and I had a soft spot for him because of that, but now I really like him.

Re: "El Niño Maravilla": Alexis Sanchez
Doesn't Alexis usually start at home and Pedro away?
Btw, I love the fact both are fighting for a starting roll. Last year Roura/Tito didn't seem to trust Villa and would just use Pedro on the left and Alexis on the right (or Iniesta on the left). With Nerman and Messi having secure starting jobs, both Alexis and Pedro actually have to work there ass off to prove they should start on the right. Thats how it should be, that healthy competition amongst team mates will only make them both better (and more importantly, the team)

It's a disgrace he's rumoured to be sold and Pedro gets some sort of Messi treatment because he used to complement the system some 3+ years ago.

if that happens i will be lot more confident about our success under Lucho...
it will also mean that being a la masia graduate will not help if you dont perform.....

Hoping for Lucho to ram a veto down Zubi's throat if he get's it in his head to sell Alexis.
Re: "El Niño Maravilla": Alexis Sanchez
Every season has been better than the last. I'd like to see this trend continue. I certainly consider him a valuable player for us right now.

Juventus only want to pay 15M for Sanchez. We shouldn't sell him to begin with, but if we do for that price...SMH

That would be criminal.
There is no way we would do that. No team is that stupid.

I really don't understand this. He had a good season. It's Pedro who should be leaving.
