Juve trio queue for extensions
Juventus will make moves to extend the contracts of Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli and Paolo De Ceglie.
The trio of players are currently only tied to the Turin giants until June 2013 – but all three want to be kept by the Old Lady.
Goalkeeper Buffon, now 34, is set to be handed a new deal until 2016, although he will be asked to take a cut to his current €6m a season salary.
Barzagli, meanwhile, has already agreed in principle to continue his career in Turin. All that is missing is a signature on an extension until 2014 for the centre-back.
Left-sided player De Ceglie, a product of the club’s youth system, will soon start negotiations about his future.
The former Italian Under-21 international has been linked with both Milan and Roma in the past, but La Signora are considering offering him improved terms until 2016.
