Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Why is he such a drama queen?

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Pep is my boy.
But why? I dont see the big deal, just sign the thing and move on. Its not like he holding a Madrid shirt, or whatever rival Bayern are supposed to have in their league shirt.
Is this out of some misguided attempt to show Bayern (fans, players, management, whoever) his commitment?

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
He is a drama queen, but then it might also have to do with the fact that had he signed the shirt there would be headlines all over Spain how he will return in summer as part of Rosell's bid etc pp, and then he'd have to answer questions about that at every pressconference for the next months.
Don't think he'll have to answer questions at a press conference why he didn't sign a Barca shirt, so he probably saved himself some annoyance

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
I can't believe that's what went through his (tremendously bald and shiny) head. If he just signed a shirt no one would take notice. I swear I've seen Messi sign a Real Madrid shirt or something during one of the Ballon d'Or events. Refusing to sign is actually what pulls attention on him in the first place. If the press wants to create rumours they'll do it anyway: "Pep's refusal to sign a Barca shirt to pretend that he has cut all ties with Barca in exaggerated manner proves his secret plans of returning to Barcelona." There.

Pep openly courting Varane in the media now is interesting to me... he usually doesn't comment on players publicly unless there's something there. That bastard better stay away ffs.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
For all we know he did go back and sign it or perhaps whatever he was using to autograph wouldn't work on the shirt hence why he couldn't do it. I personally wouldn't look to much into that video.
He also did get question about it
"I'm not the solution. There is a lot of great options and I'm sure the right people will make the right decisions to maintain Barça's spot as one of the greatest clubs in the world."
"Laporta has never said that (him being our next sporting director). You might have read it but it never came out of his mouth"
Nevertheless still love Pep
Man made us dream and then made it come true

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Pep Guardiola, current coach of Bayern Munich, spent a year living in New York. He decided to take refuge in the city after a long, intense and successful period in charge of Barcelona. For him it was the best way to disconnect from the current club, keep a low profile, and avoid the certain comparisons that would be made between him and the new coach. Pep was accompanied by his family and led a normal life, oblivious to the all the pressure that he suffered in Barcelona. He has now made some things known which he did during his stay in the city.
The prestigious Dr Joan Massague, one of the leading authorities in cancer research, has revealed in the programe "El Convidat", on TV3, that Guardiola was regularly in his office at the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics at the Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Centre in New York. Massague said that the former Blaugrana coach spent hours talking to him and was interested in many topics, beyond medicine. He became friends with not only the doctor himself but also many of his employees and hospital staff.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Barcelona and Brazil defender Dani Alves has claimed Pep Guardiola was turned down for the Selecao head coach job before the World Cup.
The former midfielder has long been credited with an interest in taking on the Brazil post and is thought to have been in the running in the autumn of 2012, as the Brazilian Football Confederation sought a replacement for Mano Menezes.
Brazil ultimately handed the role to 2002 World Cup-winner Luiz Felipe Scolari, who oversaw the triumph at the 2013 Confederations Cup prior to the World Cup on home soil which saw them exit at the semi-final stage thanks to a now infamous 7-1 thrashing by Germany.
And Alves, who enjoyed supreme success under Guardiola at Barcelona, has hit out at the CBF for failing to appoint the current Bayern Munich boss when they had the chance.
"Before the World Cup, Pep wanted to coach the Brazil side but they weren't keen," the full-back told Bola de Vez.
"Pep said that he wanted to make us the best in the world and had a strategy planned out... but they didn't want him.
"They said they didn't know if the Brazilian people would accept him. But if you don't accept the best in the world, someone who can make us better, you don't care about the Selecao.
"Since I started playing for Brazil, he had a team in his head. Pep is the best coach in the world. He's a guy who revolutionised football.
"We had the chance to get him without spending loads of money... his intention was only to receive money if he delivered results. How do you let an opportunity like that slide?"
Scolari was replaced by Dunga following the 2014 finals but the former midfielder failed to inspire success at this summer's Copa America, as they exited at the quarter-final stage to Paraguay.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Not sure if I believe that tbh. Why would Pep have been willing to leave Bayern after just one year? And who in the right mind would have said no to him?
If its true though that's a crying shame, would've loved to see Brazil under Pep.

It says he was after it in 2012, so before the Bayern job.

Oh ok, makes sense. I read before the World Cup and I thought they meant at the end of the 13-14 season. Still don't understand why anyone would've said no though.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
If he gets embarrassed with a treble winning Bayern squad in the CL semis who says he wouldn't have gotten embarrassed the same way as Scolari did in the WC semis with a much inferior Brazil team?
