Here's what you do, if you have firefox:

install the add-on blocksite
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/blocksite/

Once installed you go to add-ons manager
--> blocksite options
--> add
--> type *goallegacy* in addition to any other websites you wish you keep yourself from clicking
the asteriks are kind of like a wild card, it means that they will block any URL with the words goallegacy in it

Done.

And how do you set a password that you do not know/will expire when you want it to?

I imagine there's something similar for chrome

You have the option to write down a password if you want. I don't think you can make it expire, but what you could do is write down a series of random numbers, write those down on a piece of paper, and then save the paper somewhere until April 1st.

Edit: hmmm there doesn't seem to exist an app like this for chrome. It's something really basic, I'm surprised. Yet another reason ff>chrome

You can try Alfred's suggestion if you want, though really Lex's is best to just try and exercise self control, it will be a good test. If after a few days it's really not working I'll give you the temporary ban if you still want it.

What? You have some important stuff to do yet you can't trust yourself to do that work because you're sure you'll end up here for the whole time?

That's a motivation issue. If you were truly motivated to do that work then you wouldn't even think of coming here for fear of the consequences.

Getting yourself banned won't solve your problem, nor would these types of tactics help you in the long run. Just IMO.

If you are done with the forums or have some type of issue (security related or otherwise) an Admin can DELETE an account if requested, but unless you have a very, VERY good reason do not request a ban.
