Yesterday was their chance to go third,though Roma dominated proceedings Napoli did well to score two goals....Out of all the teams competing for the third spot,hope Napoli make it because they are the strongest of them all(Excluding Inter maybe) and it would be a further loss for serie a to lose more stars like lavezzi and cavani

Napoli's transfer activity so far:

-As we know Ezequiel Lavezzi signed for PSG for a fee of €26m

The Incomings:

-Goran Pandev from Inter €7.5m

-They are set to sign Alessandro Gamberini and Valon Behrami from Fiorentina for a combined fee of €8.5m

Napoli will hand over €8.5m to Fiorentina for Valon Behrami and Alessandro Gamberini, reports Il Mattino.

The Viola pair are wanted by the Azzurri and their transfers are expected to be made official at some stage next week.

The majority of that fee will be paid for the Swiss midfielder given that the Italian defender has less than a year left on his contract in Tuscany.

Behrami will be handed a three-year deal worth €1.5m a season, while the centre-back will earn about €1.2m per campaign.

-They were rumored to sign Armero but reports suggest that the are set to lose out on him as he's rumored to join Juventus.

-They have also been linked to a move for 18 year old Argentine wonderkid Lucas Ocampos of River Plate.

-They have reached an agreement with Sampdoria to sign Poli for €6.5m but reports believe Poli is waiting for an approach from Milan..

De Laurentis isn't really beating around the bush, he wants a competitve side and he wants as soon as possible, if they make the right signings and keep the right people i think they can get far in the CL or maybe just win the EL

Finally living up to that hype from last year. Losing Lavezzi has, in fact, helped Napoli. Now they have Vargas, Insigne, and Pandev that can all step up and deliver consistently.
