Obviously it depends on taste but for me LASERS was mostly terrible, and his worst effort.

I'd go with The Cool, FL2, FL, LASERS in that order

I know it's not rap but I actually checked out that Timberlake(never really listened to anythin of his) album 20/20 and it's surprisingly good. The production especially is ridiculous. Timbo at his best.

This track is sick.

What many people don't realise, especially the old, raw hip hop heads is that Drake can murder a track when he juz goes all out on it. Like for instance his verse on Stay Schemin' and his own 9 A.M. In Dallas, Congratulations, Ransom, etc.

And one thing that he always has going for him is a very sick beat. (Big props to Noah "40" Shebib and Boi-1-da) SERIOUSLY I don't know a Drake song with a lame beat.

As for Lupe's best album. My opinion: Well I can't really give a concrete opinion, coz I haven't listened much of Lupe's first few projects. I only really listened to the last two, Lasers and FL2. And if I should pick between those two, I'd go with the latter.

Never thought I'd see the day.. I had written this album off for 6-7 years but he finally made it happen.

Adnyana, have we discussed "No Love Lost" as of yet? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I'm coming home from work now, so I will keep this post short.

I was initially thrown off by some of the tracks and features, but I
came around after listening to the album in its entirety. I also think that this is Budden's most diverse album and that should be good for bringing in some new fans (he cannot live off the JBTV and the avid Mood Muzik listeners.

Yeah definitely his most mainstream seeking album. I don't mind it though, I mean, it was always going to tilt that way with his profile these days. Tracks like "Castles" and "You & I" are typical Joe, but my favorite is "Skeletons". He's in that place now where I think he can cater to both with his albums and tapes, like Fab to a lesser extent.
