Obviously most of us should be unhappy today for our poor performance. Apart from our lethargic and sloppy play, one individual stood out, and for me was our flop of the match. With Countless balls given away and a real lack of urgency throughout the game, Robinho really had me screaming at the t.v.

His fanboys wil say he does a lot for the team in terms of build-up play, and how he complements Ibra. Might I mention that his famed dribbling skills have only led to giveaways, and he fails to link up with anyone. He misses countless opportunities that I would back my youngest sister to score. Most of all, he displays a huge lack of confidence, and even the joy of playing that I am so accustomed to with many of our previous forwards. These problems have been ever-present amongst his play this season.

My enjoyment of every game falls the minute he steps on the pitch, and he can be blamed for countless opportunities wasted. I am fed up with him on our team, and cannot wait for the day he leaves.

I agree, Robinho has been playing like utter shit this season. I was unhappy when SES was subbed off and not Robinho.

What do you mean here we go again...I dont know a time this season where he has truly justified a starting berth.

seriously he should have been subbed instad of el sharawwy even though el sharawwy wasnt sharp.

he lost ball, so many times today ... apart from being ineffective....
dont know whats with his form ... sometimes he is hyper active, sometimes he is numb....

Well any player of "Milan quality" should at least show some sort of learning curve...whereas as robinho doesnt!

well i guess we dont have world class players in every department just like heydays (bar thiago silva, nesta, MVB, ibra.. few of em) so i think we just have to settle with what we have now. nowadays in gallianis book, anyone can be milan quality.... if he says or pick one from the bunch


thats why i have learnt now to kind of ignore robinho's form because i am fed up with his up and down menstruation-cycle like form lol

I thought I was the only person who thought he is crap.I swear every time he scores a cheap boring goal,and does his stupid dance i go freakin mad. Now i hope you guys see why we needed Tevez so badly.the only person we can rely on is Ibra and if he flops we are screwed .

The real question is did you actually expect to win with a midfield of Van Bommel, Nocerino, an Ambrosini ?

Robinho has always been garbage, its no secret.

Robinho was good last season so our expectations of him are higher than what he showed us today

Anyway Robinho failed yesterday due to the fact that he was playing TQ against a team playing deep in their half combined with good pressing. We've been through this many times, Robinho cannot play TQ he is far better suited playing SS.

The only time i can think of Robinho playing TQ well is in a counter attacking set up, which is what we were going for against Lazio , but they surprised us by playing very deep and pressing hard.

Was only recenty when Robinho was playing so well and scoring..

QFT, a Giovanni after my own heart, well put sir. I said exactly this on a different forum last night. One half-decent season under Schuster and blinder of a Copa America shortly after that.. but other than those 2 events he has never lived up to his self-created hype. He said as a youth that he would "win the Balon d'or one day"... yeah right....

But Robinho wasn't so bad last season, wasn't he?

one bad game? he truly sux agaisnt strong teams, he scores some boring goals against mid to bottom table teams, thats it.

Every player misses sitters it just happens that robinho misses a lot of sitters;however, when you look at the teams he has played and started for(real Madrid,Man City, AC Milan and the Brazil Nt) as well as the fact that many managers have seen qualities in him that they liked tells you he's a talent. Obviously the talent coaches and managers see in him isn't his great goal scoring ability but probably his flair, dribbling, passing, creativity, and occasional goal scoring.
Just because robinho isn't a fan favorite doesn't mean he's a bad player.

personnaly i like Robinho, and on his day, he is a machine. hey maybe its Allegri that tells him dont go around deking everybody, once you get in certain position pass the ball, i dont know lol

Just because robinho isn't a fan favorite doesn't mean he's a bad player.

I respectfully disagree. As a striker, your job is to score. I couldn't care less what else he does on the pitch. If he scores, he's done his job. If he doesn't he's failed.

He consistently misses sitters, and his occasional good performances in other areas do not make up for the fact that his job is to score and he's not doing that.

Robinho is GARBAGE.
