How highly do you rate Allergi
As a tactician and a manager?
Legit question.
This guy has won serie A and given the talents available to him he managed really well imo.But all i see is people calling him and average tactician and anti-football specialist etc.Is he under appreciated?

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
I personally hate Allergi's.
One of my 6 brothers had a very sensitive reaction to dust and usually kept me awake the whole night with his consistent sinuses.

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
Pros:
-Good human resource manager (like Spaletti for example)
-Can pressure Milan bosses
-Ready to exploit what given and not cry that he needs more (Mancini)
-Good with subs
Cons:
-Unexperienced tactician, making bs mistakes at times
-Underperforms in big games

Good with subs??
Hell no. That's his biggest con
good thing he is showing massive improvements.
Arguably top 10 right now

Allergi is pretty decent I would think. His game plans usually set up Milan in a way that they have a chance of winning.

Honestly to me hes equivalent to Mancini in his Inter days... At the end of the day, Ibracadabra!

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
Allegri? He is a tactical powerhouse for me. Future talent for Serie A and football itself.
Big matches, what do you expect with this midfield of ours? Check my posts in the Milan section on the big game deception as I assure you will be convinced otherwise.
Why isn't anyone taking his previous years big games into account?
Simply put, Allegri is a superb tactician, but needs to be a better motivator in big games.

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
Very calm and composed coach. That is one of his main strengths.Doesnt tend to buckle up in pressure situations and force himself into making changes when things arent going right.
But again that has also been proven as a disadvantage at times as he has been very rigid with his formations and player selections.
Yeah he did well in big games last season especially when he got his tactics spot on against Inter but again he was coming up against Leo who is not a tactician at all.

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
to me, he is just another average coach. last year Milan won the trophy not just because he was the coach of Milan... Milan won it because there were no viable competitors... Inter were still on honeymoon, and Napoli didn't have the strength of Milan. also, the playing style of Allegri's Milan doesn't enchant me like Anchelotti's one ... Milan fans pardon me if i'm wrong

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
I agree with maruf063. Milan won that scudetto because lack of competition and beforemilanistigetmewrong i dont deny their success but with clubs like this season Milan would find it hard to take the scudetto again

He's put Milan back in the big stage so props to him.
Allergi? Well, Milan seem to have an allergy to half decent creative midfielders :lucas:

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
Funny how Juve fans conveniently call that this year has more competition that last year.
Napoli was better last year.
Udinese despite their spot were also more of a potent thread with a better attack and midfield
Inter were also better last year.
Lazio were around the same but clearly more balanced.
Only juve has provided more competition.
Ibra dependent? I guess no one remembers the number of Milan fans who didn't even want him startin in the 2nd half of the season during his injuries/suspension due to simply not needing him.
Hoof it to Ibra? This isn't Mancini or mou's inter.
I still can't help but shake my head at some of the critiques when people don't even watch our games or just deductions through one game.
Beautiful football? With this squad? LMAO. Does anyone even realize who Ancelotti had with him?
How is it that Mou, Guariola, Ancelotti, van basten, hitzfeld, lippi and capello hold him in such regard for his astute tactics?
GTFO

Re: How highly do you rate Allergi
Ac Milan managed 82 points last season.
Inter managed 82 points the year before.
Inter managed 83 points the year before and 85 points the year before. I don't see this big of a difference. These numbers suggest that there WAS competition last year.

Quite obvious you didn't see his Cagliari side.
Or our 2nd half of last season where we played some attractive football.

Just because he had the stones to try something new when he was at Cagliari doesnt erase the fact that hes done nothing but conform to Italian coaching stereotypes since joining his first big side
3/4 dms and hoof it to your attackers who are free from defensive responsibilities...he's really shattering the mould there

i think most of the forum members (including me) are biased to some extent. the football Milan or most other serie A club plays (baring some games) can't be cited as attacking or mouthwatering. slow and static with all those age old tacticians still storming the ground in serie a... i'm a die hard Serie A , and Roma, Milan fan and i have been watching games for the past 10 years... little have changed during that period... we are lagging far behind the leading EPL and La Liga clubs in terms of entertainment. i can debate thousand hours in favor of serie a clubs, but deep inside i know the truth. AS Roma have brought a fresh mentality to Serie A recently, and i hope most of the teams follow the suit including Allegri's Milan
