Schweinsteiger defends a shit lot. I was praising Sahin with that comparison, in that he's a complete sort of player.

But yes, the extra DM also helps.

Bender did most of the defensive work at BVB tbf which alot of people have missed or ignored.

If you're playing both Alonso and Sahin, you need a DM and out goes Özil.

They are good defensively but you cannot afford to start a game without a proper DM.

Often, Wenger leaves just Arteta in midfield but thats in second half depending on situation.

Nuri Sahin is a gem but unfortunately Real Madrid dont know how to use them.

Instead, they are stuck with Khedira and Lass who are not going to dominate a WC midfield anytime soon.

you guys are out of your minds. first. ozil and sahin can play together either in a 4-2-3-1 with sahin as a CM/DLP and ozil as a CAM

or in a 4-3-3 with ozil part of the attacking 3 and sahin as a midfield 3. and no ozil is not being played out of position if he is played on the wing have you not watched him play at werder bremen?

the reason he is not playing is not because he is a flop or going to be sold etc. its because he was hurt the majority of the time he has played here and needs time to adjust to the league and his teammates

hes had 5 total appearances, mostly against scrub teams

Khedira is no DM. Every madridista has been saying it for ages that Xabi is our DM. He handles the job but he doesn't do it good. We need a proper DM hence why Lass has been playing so much lately
