Because Ronaldo is our star player, he decision making in that game was horrible. I'm not jumping on his back and I don't know when that Malaga game became a 'big game' but he didn't step up.

Well to put things into perspective I just want to ask why has Messi and NOT Ronaldo won the latest Balon D'Or?!

Barcelona Fans need not to answer, in fact its pretty clear why. How many clasicos did we have last year? How many of them Ronaldo was motm? How many of them did he score & assist in them? [Disregard the pk goal].

I hate doing this but compare them to messi.

If you say its unfair doing these comparisons then I'll say this, why is it you think Ronaldo has been RM's best player in the past season or so? Now try comparing this with other players like Di Maria, Ozil and Alonso who were too the top performers. If you think he was better than them then you are wrong unfortunately and hereby proving several points other posters are pointing out.

Most obvious one is that he isn't shining when and where it matters. When some of the other players were more decisive than him in those games.

Some think criticizing a player is hating on him and wanting him sold and what not. Ronaldo should also be treated like all other players to motivate him and show him he "is" equal to the other guys, that all of them will get criticized if they prove to fail in the important games. He is no more or no less than them.

Saying these things doesn't mean we don't appreciate what he has done but that's not enough especially for what he's paid and what he was bought here to do.

The object of the game is to score by driving the ball into the opposing goal.

That doesnt make you the 2nd best player anyway.

He is a good player for Madrid but not a leader.

Madrid without him can still beat allmost all of the teams.

For some games Madrid with CR is a better team, but not always.

Its embarrasing to see comparisions of him and Messi as everyone knows the only reason CR has been nominated for the Ballon dOr are his amount of goals scored, not the tittles he has inspired his team to win.

Not saying hes bad or anything but just saying that hes not what most of the people and especialli media make him out to be.
