You know when you play FIFA 12 on Legendary, and it seems like no matter what you do right, you still can't score? Every pass you play, no matter how well charged, ends up just behind the player you want it to get to. Every shot you take, even if you just try to put it down the middle, ends up marginally off target. The referee gets every decision wrong, except for one or two which make you half think that the game is trying to screw with you. And the opposition goalkeeper? He has a game so good you tell yourself 'okay, there is no way that this game is realistic if someone makes that many world class saves. This game is a piece of shit.'

Well, that second half felt to me like I was playing FIFA 12. I even found myself spouting my classic gaming hyperboles (ex. "every player on our team should have a hattrick by now ffs," "we should be up by a 2 digit number," "this is the most unlucky game in the history of sports," etc etc)

That all being said, Hennessey was in god-mode today. I thought, from what I saw in the second half (missed 1st due to doctor's appointment), our midfield played very well, especially Rosicky and Arteta. Gervinho worked hard but had a dreadful final ball, as usual, and honestly I thought Arshavin was quite good when he came on.

And the best part is that Arsene wasted his 3rd change on a player who almost injured our best striker and did nothing after that

i dont know why people are blaming chamakh and arshavin. chamakh came on for 5 mins while got a nasty injury. Arshavin nearly scored.

Our lack of width was noticable.

Benayoun kept coming in the middle. Vermaelen was always in the middle, Djourou kept doing an eboue.

dammit ! tday just wasn't RVP's day....he lost many chances -maybe "breakingrecord"has affected him in a way or !donno..he was a bit anxious-"under pressure" all over the game.......Gerinho wasn't that bad in general but very selfish imo(still not impressive to me)...n surprisingly ! Rosicky -man of the match definitely..what to say..half time we played like kids...keeping the ball isn't enough when u play "in your side" n btw own team !u know...without actions it's just a fkn ball possesion..but nothing else ...like we did !

RvP played poorly because of the record thing, everything he did was un RvP he was taking two or three touches where he would normally take one

when Ramsey or Rosicky lofted one ball into him he took a touch and could have hit it but you could see he didnt want to take the chance and tried to be "safe" so he let it bounce again and again and took a touch round someone and missed

those little things happen when you stop playing how you normally play

he should be good by Jan 2 when that record thing is completely gone

the day arshavin shows up to play is when we lose, smh....

Rvp does need to get benched some games too. we are going to wear him out. if park aint ready and chamakh is still off form, just play theo up front ffs, and chambo/benayoun can play rw

We will be good when we buy Podolski and one or 2 full backs on a loan. I forgot we need King Henry ASAP>

We're just not good enough to challenge for titles, sadly

Absolutely platinum opportunity to close the gap on a few league table places and we bottled it

I agree, this is the second home we fail to score more than one goal and get all the 3 points. Its going to get harder from here, Wenger must buy few players. We need another goal scorer. We need Podolski if Wenger does not see we need him then I dont know what to say.

You did a 'liverpool' today . Dropping points at home and making the away keeper look like he's the best in the league!

On another day we would have won 4-0. Sometimes it's like this.

But yes, the absence of full-backs and Wilshere was clear today. (also walcott)
