Beckham is NOT just a marketable player as his experience, leadership, professionalism and influence is massive to the team he joins.

Not only that, he is great on the pitch.

Despite being slow, his passes are out of this world, his tactical awareness, positioning, intelligence, set pieces, laser sharp shots and crosses are highly highly underrated.

How can I say this? The 2 stints in Milan.

Beckham is a class act. Past his best? Obviously, but he still has plenty to offer. Money doesn't matter to PSG anyway.

Agreed, I watched him at Milan too, and have been watching him in LA. He's still got it. He was never super fast and athletic imo. He's all about vision, distribution, free-kick accuracy, work-rate. He was carrying a minor injury in the MLS cup final vs Houston, and still played amazingly and ran his ass off.

He's not finished and will be a good signing for PSG, not just for marketable reasons, either.
