Velez should've scored twice now. Mad

Santos are weak on the air, all three clear-cut chances were headers.

FT Velez 1 - 0 Santos. Velez deserved to win. But that's not the worst result to bring home (for Santos).. it's not so hard to overturn, but it will be tough!!

FT Velez wins 1-0, and should've won by quite a few more goals. Good result for Velez, because if they score away Santos will be obligated to score 3 to win. Still, I feel like the score doesn't reflect the level of domination Velez sometimes had.

im not sure this "quite a few more goals" applies.. this is football, u dont score from every chance or half-chance u got. still, i admit that velez could've won by more than 1-0. see at the Vila Belmiro next week. VAMOS SANTOS!!

No, but when you had 5-6 solid chances and you only score once it says something. Either way, the fault is on them for not finishing them, all I'm saying is that had they been a bit luckier they could've won 3-0, which is true.

well, i guess what you're saying is true. i think they deserved a 2-0. we were total shit. i hope muricy rest the players this weekend (when the brasileirao starts) so that they are ready to demolish velez next thursday!

you're right, Boca would've lost 6-0 to Barca. Santos was the best team in South America last season. Just ask Penarol.
