Di Benedetto relieved of operational duties
During the latest board meeting, Thomas Di Benedetto was relieved of all his operating duties. He will, however, continue to act as President of Roma. Mark Pannes, the newest member of the Roma board of directors, will be given some of the duties taken from Di Benedetto. His role will be similar to that of Claudio Fenucci, however in the marketing sector (thus making him chief marketing officer). Additional responsibilities will also be given to another new member of the board, Brian Klein.
As for the club's Finance sector, Pallotta will be heavily contributing to the club's funding increase. 50 million euros are expected to be invested into the squad by the month of March 2012, with 22% of it being reserved for the transfer market.
The changes in the board of directors were brought about by the exits of Richard D'Amore and Michael Ruane. Mark Pannes is the co-managing director of Raptor Accelerator, while Brian Klein is a former executive director of Goldman Sachs and a member of the US Soccer Foundation. In addition, Klein is also a former president of a 4th tier American soccer club, the Crossfire Premier Soccer Club, and was part of another youth academy, the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association. Klein obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at "Southern Methodist University". Along with Pallotta, he owns shares of James River Coal Company, Charter Communications Inc., ABH Abitibibowater Inc. and Level 3 Communications Inc. Both Pannes and Klein were brought in by James Pallotta, who is becoming an important figure in Roma's management.
Roberto Cappelli also confirmed that the plans for the new stadium is in its initial stages.
Here's some short biographies of Mark Pannes and Brian Klein:

Re: Di Benedetto relieved of operational duties
Thank you Di Benedetto, 11 months as president of our club. Glad to see Pallotta named president, the most obvious choice, I like the guy. Saw him give Bojan an early birthday gift (Kevin Garnett's shoes which fit him perfectly).
