After Manchester City's extravagant fancy-dress Christmas party blow-out on Monday, Arsenal decided to celebrate the festive season themselves, albeit in a considerably more low-key fashion

First the squad enjoyed dinner at the Hilton on Mayfair's Park Lane, which overlooks Buckingham Palace.

Then they moved to the traditional glitterati hang-out, Whisky Mist nightclub, where they partied until 3am.
